⸻The pool itself was warm and enjoyable, but several aspects of the property and stay were disappointing.The pool and dock lights were not working, limiting use in the evenings. The location was also not ideal—it’s on a very busy road next to an abandoned house, which was not apparent from the listing.While the house appeared clean at first glance, the floors were extremely dirty—our white socks turned black.There were also multiple inconveniences. We were told a handyman needed access on our second day to change a lock, despite there being no issue, requiring someone to stay back. We were also told the pool service would come on Thursday, but no one showed up. On checkout day, the house manager arrived at 9:00 AM while we were still packing, which felt intrusive and was not communicated in advance. Although the manager texted to ask our checkout time, they did not wait for a response before arriving. There was also conflicting information—the VRBO listing states an 11:00 AM checkout, while the in-house instructions required 10:00 AM.We’ve stayed in many vacation rentals and have not experienced this level of inconsistency and lack of coordination.
