Moonglow Cottage

Moonglow Cottage was exceptional! It was very cozy and comfortable. Great location within 5 minute walking distance of the Fiscalini Ranch Preserve. There were wild turkeys and deer roaming around the neighborhood. Enjoyable experience overall!

Quiet and serene property

The neighborhood was beautiful and we really enjoyed our stay. House is small, and kitchen was a little funky, but had places to sit quietly out on a small balcony and enjoy the wildlife in the early mornings and late afternoon. Parking was a little tricky and the streets were tight. To get to town of Cambria you definitely should drive since you need to cross 1, and moonstone beach is a hilly walk. But the property was nice, clean and quiet. Great place to stay and relax.

Great Experience in a beautiful home

Our son got married in Cambria over the weekend and we had East Coast relatives extend their stay for a few days of fun on the Central Coast. My wife and I along with my other son and his girlfriend stayed in the house while my sisters and their husbands rented another home in the neighborhood. While both houses were lovely we all agreed that the Moonstone Cottage was the best experience. Pictures in listing were accurate, lots of extra touches and fully equipped kitchen. Very organized and detailed book of instructions and recommendations was helpful for us. Only minor quibble was a dresser used as a side table next to the bed was higher than the bed and a hazard for hitting your head or elbow getting up at night, but I understand the desire to maximize storage options. We plan to come back to Cambria again and will definitely stay here again.

clean and well equiped

we really enjoyed our stay here. however, we were a little surprised at the access to get to living level. the stairs and walkway up to the main level were a challenge for senior renters. once inside it was great.

Beautiful house in a stunning area

So glad we discovered Cambria and this house! The house was spotlessly clean, well stocked, the decor was warm and inviting. The beach, adjacent parks, and a nature preserve are all within a short walk. Cambria is a funky little town - not overly developed, no fast food restaurants, which, for us, is perfect. My only regret is we were only able to stay two nights. Definitely have to go back!

Great Home In Wonderful Location

My husband and I had a great week stay here (our second visit to this home)! This home is beautiful, very clean, comfortable, and a great location close to pretty much everything you could need- the beach, nature walks, restaurants, shopping in town, grocery store, etc. The outdoor area is peaceful with a fire pit, landscaping/trees, and we watched many deer come up through the neighborhood in the evenings. Kathy was communicative during booking and also with instructions for accessing the home. We had no issues while there. Overall, a wonderful home to stay in while visiting Cambria!

The description for this property should be called moon afterglow

As a longtime visitor to the beautiful little town of Cambria, this is one of the finest and beautifully decorated properties i’ve had the pleasure of staying. The peace and tranquility of the outdoor balcony/sitting area is unmatched and I could’ve stayed out there all day and night. Check in was extremely easy as was communication with property owner/manager and I would Love to return someday. Thank you for making your beautiful property so inviting and welcoming.

5 Day Getaway

The house is amazing! Location is close to everything, trails, beach, restaurants, attractions and shopping. Super quiet and equipped with anything we need. The views from the house are spectacular. We highly recommend this beautiful home and place to visit.

Beautiful and every necessity met

We love Cambria , but have only stayed in a bed and breakfast. This time we chose a house. The house is lovely and well maintained. All appliances were top rate and plenty of dishes and other necessities were available. The only thing I would suggest is a few more towels. If we had any concerns Kathy the host answered us very quickly . We had a great time ! If you are seniors like us, the steps are a challenge , but well worth the exercise!

Amazing Birthday Trip

I've been to Cambria before and loved it...but this trip was extra special, it was both mine and my boyfriends 47th birthdays and we celebrated with his brother in Cambria at MoonGlow. We loved the outside amenities of the home as well as inside! Everything was perfect! Especially the turkeys and deer right out our window every morning! I can't wait to come back and bring more family!

Beautiful and comfortable house with one exception

Great vacation house. Extremely well supplied. The master bed was very comfy. The 2nd bedroom bed was nice, but very firm. The showers and water pressure were excellent. Our only complaint is that there is no air conditioning as listed in the property description. We were on a summer getaway and the option of cooling was important to us. There is a page in the house rules book, under heat category that says "there is no A/C in this house, because it isn't necessary". That may be, but it should not say there is in the VRBO amenities list.

In the treetops

Perfect house for my daughter and myself for our mother/daughter getaway. Loved the little outdoor patios on each of three levels and enjoyed the heat bowl in the evenings. The house was well lit inside – a rarity for houses of this ilk and appreciated the light switches being labeled. The only thing I would have appreciated having which was not there was Kleenex. I’ve stayed at many many VRBO houses, and this was the first one I found without Kleenex.

Cambria Getaway

We found the home to be warm, cozy, and very comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed and we enjoyed making a few meals while visiting. Also, the picture windows brought us a great view and some fun watching the local wildlife. We would absolutely stay again.

Relaxing Family Getaway

We loved staying at the Moonglow Cottage. It had everything we needed for our little family of 3. The house has its own charm and felt very welcoming. Indoor and outdoor spaces, bedrooms, and kitchen are all well thought out. Would definitely recommend this to friends and family
