Wedding Guest Weekend

We're a family born and raised in Oregon, but needed a convenient spot near our cousin's wedding venue for the weekend. We picked the perfect spot! Large enough for us to spread out for quiet time, but with cozy spots to gather. Incredible views of the river!Thanks, we had a blast!

Hard to match mountain top long big river views! Amazing retreat house (with surprise spaces) where designer level appointments greet you in every room. Attention to detail to meet all your needs. 15-20 minute drive to PDX!

Lovely home with stunning view

Clean, comfortable, with lots of outdoor spaces and a lovely view of the Columbia River and Mt. Hood! We spent a good amount of time in Portland during our trip, and the home is located conveniently near PDX and a surprising gem in Vancouver, WA.

Beautiful property

The property sits overlooking the river in a quiet neighborhood setting. The house itself was clean and accomodated with ample supplies for our stay. Lots of games and several gathering areas were a plus. Convenient to Portland, Vancouver and the Multnomah Falls area. The gardens were beautifully done and maintained with several outdoor areas to meditate in. We would definitely stay again.

Location, location, location!

After multiple flight delays due to weather, we arrived just before midnight to a welcoming home with soft music playing in the house. Everything was as described and the view overlooking the river was just what was needed after a very long day of travel. After a restful night of sleep the following day brought us everything we hoped for - a warm, cozy house with views that could be enjoyed without venturing outside. Would love to return in a different season in order to enjoy the grounds.

Best view in Washington

Everything was perfect for my family. The house is well stocked, the owners were fabulous and that view..... Mesmerizing! I think I spent most of this trip sitting on the back deck watching the Hawks play chase through the george. We will definitely be staying here again!

march 27th minor spring break trip

overall nice...no foil or olive oil when we arrived so we had to go to store for first night dinner which wasn't perfect....garage lighting needs improving for quality of ping pong...

A Cozy Christmas on the Columbia River

Situated beautifully on a hill overlooking the Columbia River and the Portland Metro area on the opposite shore. The weather was cold but we loved the main living room and spent time hanging out, playing games by the stunning copper fireplace. The decor in all the rooms was beautiful and new. A very special touch were Christmas decorations that made it feel very much like home (only nicer!) I never expected this in a rented vacation home. It was wonderful. There were many things to enjoy and we didn't have time to take advantage of them all. We will be back again!

Amazing, quiet well-appointed house

This was an amazing property. Unbelievable views of the river and mount hood (on a clear day). The check-in and check-out were seamless. Loved the back patio and grill area. The house was perfect for our group weekend stay. Highly recommend!

Great Family Home!

Really, really nice home overlooking the Columbia River. My family group of 12 gathered for a Celebration of Life weekend for my Mom. Beautiful grounds, cool, quirky layout. Was a great place to cook, celebrate and eat at home with dear family. Service was very responsive and friendly. Great stay!

Great Family Retreat

Amazing house for our family to stay for our son’s wedding. We had family coming in from multiple cities, so the proximity to PDX was great. The house, views and amenities were incredible. An awesome place to gather, relax and unwind.

Stunning property, beautiful view

This is such a gem. We reserved so our 5 person family plus 2 others could hang out and bring in 3 local parents to spend time with us. Views are to die for. The kitchen is very well appointed for a rental, which is important to us foodies. The master bedroom is open to the entire house which isn’t ideal, but we rolled with it. My 10 year old son grabbed the room that adjoins the master through the bathroom (very much like Harry Potter’s room under the stairs) and loved it. Lots of stairs so not ideal for disabled. The grounds are lovely and large. Highly recommend.

Wonderful property with breathtaking scenery.

This property is perfect in every way. Very carefully thought out extra touches and amenities. The house has great gathering spots and also little privacy areas for private time. The children ages 5-17 played together with all the recreational items present in the house. The adults enjoyed the views and all the state of the art appliances and amenities available. The windows sparkled which is so important to enjoy the views and the abundant wildlife. The deer were adorable and friendly. Convenient to shopping and numerous outdoor activities this area has to offer. Highly recommend this listing.
