Was going to give two stars but hotel was very clean. Miguel from the bar was so polite and hospital. Reception team that checked us in lied to us. Said hotel was full when it was not. Wanted 1400 euros for an upgrade to judior suite that was the only room left. I checked on hotel.com and it would have only been an extra 200 euros. I hate lies. Charged 22 to use the spa and then 3 for a mandatory cap. Unreal. It’s so not worth it. The sauna was not working and it’s all very basic. The swim up pool from the room was fab but cold of course. They need to put a barrier around the sink which is beside the bed. I got wet everytime my partner washed from it while I was in bed. They only change sheets every three days and towels every two. Awful but I understand why. Only bin in the room was in the bathroom. Not great either. View from room was fab. Location was far from th historic center and shopping so stay here only if you want beach. TV didn’t work. Had to wait hours to get it fixed even after several calls to reception. They charge 1 euro each bottle for water in the room to be replenished. Overall I wouldn’t stay here again. Too many negatives. Male chef making omelettes was lazy and grumpy. Wouldn’t give me extra cheese on my omelette as too lazy to go in and get more.

A beautiful hotel with easy underground parking. We chose a room with an ocean view and it was a real treat. Our room was gorgeous - spotlessly clean, the bed was comfortable and the balcony a nice way to take in the view. Exploring Historic Cadiz was easy on the public bus at the stop just around the corner and Bus 7 returned us close by after a really nice trip along the beachfront ( about 5 Euro return). Breakfast was excellent and it was nice to look out over the beach.

We booked our room through Expedia five months in advance for a six-night stay. However, upon arrival, we were informed that we would have to check out on October 22 because the hotel had accepted a large group booking that filled all their rooms. When we explained that our reservation was confirmed until October 26 and showed them our Expedia booking, they claimed it must have been a system error—without offering any apology. They did, however, offer to move us to a nearby hotel, which we declined. We stayed in one of the studio rooms, which was dark and poorly designed. The layout was inconvenient, and accessing the room was quite confusing, likely because the building is old and was later converted into a hotel, not originally designed as one. The room was clean snd quiet.

This is an hotel from the 80’s that closed for a decade or more and was refurbished to open in ‘22. Despite the clunky architecture and core materials - the Balinese-inspired decor is quite successful. The pool and rooftop bar are impressive. Breakfast is a bun-fight. And the fusion of modest conferences and package tourists makes for a slightly uncomfortable vibe. The lifts are a nightmare at peak times. Not bad if the price is right, given the prime Playa Victoria location.

It’s far from the old town, but it’s in front of the best beach in town. The area around is busy with other hotels. Hotel pools were really nice. Our view was incredible. The gym needs an upgrade and air conditioning. Food was average even though there tons of options. I would suggest to focus on quality rather than quantity of the food. Overall good hotel and good value for the money. I would stay here again. With small improvements it could be great.

We had a confirmed reservation at Hotel Cádiz Bahía for our family of five (2 adults, 3 young children). The room was spacious with a separate bedroom, a king bed, and a living room with a sleeper sofa—more than enough space for all of us. When we arrived at midnight after a long day of travel, the front desk refused to allow all five of us to stay in the room we booked. Instead, they insisted we book a second room for four nights at an outrageous extra cost of €1,000, or they would not let us stay. We explained that the room we reserved was perfectly adequate, but they were completely unhelpful, uncompromising, and unwilling to make any reasonable accommodation. We were strong-armed into paying double for our stay because we had no other option at midnight with three tired kids. The lack of compassion, flexibility, and basic hospitality was shocking. This is not the way to treat paying guests, especially families. Our experience left us feeling deceived and taken advantage of, and it completely soured our time in Cádiz. If you value honesty, fair treatment, and genuine hospitality, do not stay at Hotel Cádiz Bahía.

The hallway lighting creates a warm and inviting atmosphere, and the finishes look well-maintained. This suggests a good level of comfort in shared spaces. • Bathroom/shower: The shower appears simple and modern, with clean tiling and built-in toiletries. However, it’s more functional than luxurious, with a straightforward design and no premium fixtures visible. There was no visible waste basket in the room. The WiFi was extremely slow and spotty.
