I understand that this is all about the location which is great and that this is not a new resort. But there is mold in the rooms and air conditioning systems. Our Clothes all smell like mold after being there for five days and the rooms smelled moldy the entire stay. Pool servers are great, but bartenders don’t care about customers standing at the bar waiting for a drink. Drinks not good, even the beer in cans is watery. Great location some very nice people and good times, but the rooms are dirty, and moldy and old. That part is a major detractor.

Pueblo Bonito Rose is such a beautiful resort. I have nothing but good things to say. The food was greeat, the views and the staff. We stayed for 6days and had access to the sister hotels. We were also able to eat at their restaurants and use their pools. Definitely worth getting all inclusive. Its also located relative to center markets and pier. It seems far but its within walking distance.

We had a great stay at Pueblo Bonito Rose overall. The resort is beautiful, clean, and very well maintained. The beach area was especially nice and offered gorgeous views. Just be aware that the ocean right in front of the resort can be a bit rough, and there’s a slippery, shallow drop-off close to the shoreline, so caution is needed when getting in the water. Our main issue was the air conditioner in our room. It was extremely loud—when it ramped up, it sounded almost like a jet engine. Unfortunately, it kicked on frequently throughout the night and consistently disrupted our sleep. If the AC noise were improved, our stay would have been close to perfect. Overall, it’s a lovely resort with a lot to offer, but I’d recommend checking your room’s AC before settling in for the night.

We chose Pueblo Bonita Rose resort because it is listed as a 4+ star all-inclusive resort, but unfortunately, our experience fell far short of those expectations. We reserved what was described as a luxury suite. Instead, we found a dark, outdated room with old, stained furniture. The bathroom and kitchen sink had visible mold, and the entire suite carried a strong mold odor, making it an unpleasant environment throughout our stay. This was not at all the standard of comfort and cleanliness one would expect from a resort of your rating. Additionally, while your listing promotes the resort as “all-inclusive,” we were surprised and frustrated to encounter surcharges at two of the four on-site restaurants—ironically, the only ones offering quality food. The overall food at the other restaurants was mediocre at best, again falling short of the standards we anticipated. On top of this, the onsite store engaged in what felt like blatant price gouging. Charging nearly $50 for a basic necessity such as sunscreen is unreasonable and leaves us feeling taken advantage of, especially in a resort destination where such items are essential. The one positive aspect of our stay was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. They did their best to provide good service, despite the disappointing conditions of the accommodations and food.
