I will preface that it was probably not wise to use a VRBO on St Patrick’s weekend because the owner of this property owned the adjacent property and it had 15 plus twenty somethings renting this for a all night bash. We alerted the owner that a full blown party was going at roughly 8 pm and they took no action to quiet things down. It was 2 am before the music stopped. Furthermore property advertised off street parking but that was not available. Fortunately we were smart enough not to park on the street as another vehicle got demolished that night parking in the street. Saying this is historical neighborhood is a bit of stretch. The nicer and more safe areas are a few blocks away. Overall not much sleep which was tough cause our daughter had a soccer combine at Elon next day. The place itself was cute and clean but you are at the mercy of who is staying next door for noise and I wouldn’t park a nice car in neighborhood. We did ask for partial refund but were refused. The rental agreement clearly states up to 500 in fines for violating the noise and occupancy limits. So I guess i would say buyer beware.
