Our stay at the W Budapest was phenomenal. The hospitality from the entrance to the reception desk as well as the restaurant was just amazing. It felt that people actually feel happy working here. The hotel itself was amazing. You get a WOW feeling the moment you enter the hotel. It’s a beautiful property, top notch and the people who work there are just amazing who make you feel welcome and important.

This is a new addition to the w family and it shows. Staff are eager to please and attentive. The hotel is beautifully renovated and immaculate. It also has all the modern amenities needed and staff are willing to go above and beyond. They are knowledgable and offer excellent advice on dining options and excursions. But….the hotel is not used to being at capacity. As the hotel got busier small flaws appeared such as running out of basic items at breakfast and a slow unresponsive wait staff. Having said this I would book again and recommend to friends and family. I only envisage the hotel getting better and would definitely stay at future new w hotels. Easily located in heart of pest. Close to various dining options and the river. We used lime scooters and got about easily in foot without need for taxi. Safe neighbourhood along a glamorous street (adjacent to Gucci etc)

The W is a beautiful hotel right across the street from the Opera house. It is in a cool historic building but the rooms have every modern luxury. The design of the hotel is very nice with some local touches. The restaurant was great and we also enjoyed the pool area downstairs that was much nicer than the bath houses we visited! I'm very happy I went with this hotel choice due to the location, amenities and that it's new and contemporary. My husband and I were celebrating our honeymoon and the staff went out of their way to make it special. We also had a great experience with the concierge booking us a dinner and evening cruise. Highly recommend!
