A great hotel but not for the infirm or elderly

The hotel was very good; having the Kelsey's restaurant attached was a real bonus. BUT the bathroom was definitely not designed with older or disabled people in mind. The side of the bathtub was high, making a bath and/or shower very difficult; the toilet was VERY low. It would be good to have some "accessible" rooms with walk-in shower and raised toilet on offer.

It felt "warm", colour wise etc. Maybe some furniture was a little bit worn, but everything was very clean, especially the bathroom, which is the most important thing to me.

The overall stay at the property was excellent but we had two major concerns from the property. 1. The carpet in the room as well as in the hallway needs to be changed as it carried a wierd stinky smell. 2. The morning breakfast should include a couple of more options for fruits as well as vegetarian food.

Room was comfortable, pool are was cleen and well stocked with towels. Breakfast was not great and staff in that area very rude however all other stagg were very friendly.

A wonderful stay in beautiful Peterborough. Excellent staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were clean and comfortable, breakfast was amazing and such a worthwhile savings- both time and money for a family stay. Breakfast was really outstanding. Great hot tub and pool area also.
