The house is very nice and clean, close to everything.Host, the check in was very difficult ,we are two seniors traveling all day from Florida.a little bit of flexibility will be nice.We were at the place at 3pm.We try by message and phone call to see if we can get in early it was a long day traveling .when the host responded he said that there werecleaning , there were nobody there at 3pm. By the way it says in the reservation if you need early check in let us know so we can arrange . false ,they let us wait until 4pmThere is camera to prove it. No friendly ,Jerry and Sara

Great location for fishing the nearby rivers. Very responsive host, easy check in. Clean and well supplied, add 3 things and it would be perfect, drip coffee maker, dishwasher, gas for the grill. Had to lug my own coffee maker and couldn’t use the grill, who travels with a tank of gas?

Cozy and clean get away with a beautiful view of the river from the covered back porch. Close to everything we love about Bryson City, NC. The house was as cute as could be, beds were comfortable which is a must!! Kitchen had everything you would need to fix your meals there and a grill on the back porch as well. We will definitely be booking this place again. I have been going to Bryson City since I was 3 years old camping with my family! I'm 66 now and It brings me happiness to visit every year at least 2 or 3 times. It's my HAPPY place! If you are looking for a clean and well located place to stay on your next visit you need to check this place out. The host was easy to talk to, very thorough with directions and quick to respond to messages! Most definitely recommend you check it out. Terry and Lynne Hedden, Georgia

The house was exactly as advertised. We were very pleased with the cleanliness and the overall decor was very cute. The house was prepared with essential items. The home was in a very convenient location for the sites and activities we planned. Definitely recommend this property. We patronized several local restaurants, one within walking distance and found excellent and food and service. Lovely vacation.

Comfortable home in quiet neighborhood outside the town of Bryson City. Beds were comfortable with new bedding and plush towels in bathrooms. Quick and courteous response to our communications. Don't forget to bring bug lotion/spray. I did and was eaten by mosquitos! Location was great for exploring the southern side of GSMNP, beautiful area with less crowds than northern side

Our second stay in this quiet neighborhood was quiet and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked. The beds were super comfortable. The house has everything you would need. Bryson City is a welcoming town with lots to do. We enjoyed views of the river, fishing, hiking, and visiting nearby shops. We will be back again.

The property at Riverfront Retreat provided a nice place to stay while exploring the area. It is located right off 19 which is the main road into Bryson City and can also take it to Cherokee.It is an older house in a quiet neighborhood.There is a nice spacious living area with an open kitchen. If u like cooking on your vacation, there are 2 big appliances that do about anything u want. The fridge has an ice maker, but not with an automatic ice and water area on the fridge. I always appreciate when there is an ice maker. There is a nice size table. The 2 BR are small, but not too small. There is good storage. The bath is off one of the bedrooms, and has a walk in shower and sink with shelves over the toilet. The sink had very little water pressure, but the shower had good pressure. The other bath is off the hall. The LR had very comfortable furniture, and a lovely fireplace, if u go when it's cooler. My favorite spot was the back porch. It is not screened in, but very spacious with good seating. It over looks the river, and looking down river, has a pretty view of the mountains. The only negative is that u can hear the traffic on 19. There is a big table and nice big grill. There is a carport, which allows u to park very close to the door for loading. The hosts were very easy to communicate with, and would get back to me quickly. If u use delivery services, it is possible to have delivery from several places; although, it may be slow at times. I would recommend this place

This was a great cottage that was a nice place to relax in after a busy day off sightseeing. It was comfortable and had a lot of nice amenities. Rear patio with river view, two bathrooms, and plenty of seating options. Also had some nice kitchen appliances. We enjoyed our stay.

We had a great time! Great communication with the owner. The views and sounds of the water are so relaxing and we enjoyed the back patio. The beds, linens, towels and showers are nice and super comfortable. We mostly ate out, but the kitchen was also well stocked. We will definitely be back!!

Beautiful property, great view!

Beautifully decorated, immaculately clean! Beds & furniture very comfy. Kitchen well equipped. The view of river outback was lovely. We had an unexpected delay ( mechanical with vehicle) of 2 hrs when checking out, & they were very understanding, although there was a modest 25 fee added for late checkout. We would stay again!
