I booked a 15-night stay, paid in full upfront via Expedia.ca, as I am here on business. I specifically chose Holiday Inn because I’ve been an IHG member for over 20 years and expected a basic level of professionalism and service. That expectation was a serious mistake. Breakfast is included with the stay, which is essential when you’re living out of a suitcase for over two weeks. From day one, the breakfast has been consistently poor: Cold potato wedges every single morning Eggs that are hit-or-miss and often lukewarm The only thing consistently acceptable is the coffee I complained on day one, and repeatedly thereafter. Nothing changed. The issues extend far beyond breakfast: The heating in my room does not work properly The deadbolt on my door is literally falling out of the wall — a serious safety issue One of the elevators has been out of service for most of the week, which is unacceptable for a business hotel As if that weren’t enough, there is a sign inside the elevator stating that there is NO housekeeping service on Wednesdays, Fridays, Sundays, or Bank Holidays. This is never disclosed at the time of booking. When you’re staying 15 nights, this is a major omission and completely unacceptable.

The rooms are very clean. Better than 5 star hotels I’ve stayed in. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also very good. A lot of selection, everything was fresh and re-stocked every few minutes. We would definitely stay here again.

TV was broke, moved to another room that was supposed to be the same room, was significantly smaller, was given a certificate for a free beverage, tried using it in the morning and was unable to because the staff didn't know how to. The shuttle was a bit of a walk especially with how snowy and hilly the area was.

The shuttle is a lie. They have selective hours and a when they feel like it attitude. The lady behind the bar gave us attitude when we asked about offing food. She sighed and rolled her eyes saying she’s have to open the kitchen up. The gentleman who checked us in was the only nice staff we encountered. I would never pay for the breakfast they served. Very disappointed
The selective times that never occurred. We had to walk to the other hotel to get a shuttle to the airport in the cold snow with our luggage

The free shuttle is a hoax we spent 1 hour in the rain waiting for the shuttle, finally it came. The next day there was no shuttle to take usto the airport you have ro go to another hotel 6 blocks away to take the shuttle, and guess what it never came, so we took a cab along with other guest
