Booked here mainly for the pool and hot tub, but only found out upon check in that the hot tub was broken. The pool is very small, so it gets crowded quickly. The pool was also a bit dirty, dont think the filter was working, since there was lots of gravel on the bottom of the pool and hair floating around. The elevator smelt awful! And the smell didn't dissipate atcall during my stay. The breakfast is minimal, and they have a limit on how much eggs and sausages you can eat/person. The waffle machine was a plus! The room was clean. And i liked thatbit had laundry facilities available, and they cost only $3 a load/machine

The old lady in the breakfast room should be replaced, she is rude, not at all friendly, it look to us she can't tolerate people from southeast Asia, her body language and expression clearly fell us uncomfortable while eating our breakfast. She should get some back house duties like housekeeping NOT in the front serving customers. Will be not coming again here! Avoid if you are from South East Asia!

Writing this while still fresh in my mind. As I was not able to get a room at Super 8 when I changed my plans to arrive a day early. This resulted in a first night booking at Motel 6 down the road. Super 8 was so much quieter as I think the place is just "built better". The Motel 6 in room heater was so loud and cam on frequently during the night. The Super 8 heater was didn't have to turn on as often, I suspect because the room was better insulated. It was also so quiet that I could hardly tell it was operating, yet the room was so comfortable. Pet peeve with hotels rooms and their TV services. When I am out of town I would really like the TV services to have a guide and show info feature like most TV providers. Neither the Super 8 or the other hotel offered this service. A small detail, but it can make a difference when you are away from home and depending on the TV for entertainment.
