We called before we booked as we live only 15 miles away . We wanted to know if the pool and hot bub were open . We were to yes to both. After booking and checking in we notice hot tub was roped off with caution tape . When ask , desk man said it would be up and ready 2 in hours. The hot tub was the ONLY REASON WE WERE PAYING FOR A HOTEL . $90.00 IS EXPENSIVE FOR JUST TOBUSE A HOT TUB. After 3 and a half hour wait it was not open . It was only at 88° . It would be 10 PM before it was hot enough . Pool and spa close at 10 PM ! THEY OPEN UP AT 9 I THINK IN MORNING BUT CHECK OUT IS 11:00 . They made us put $100 on hold at checkin though room was already paid for . We told them we wanted our money back . They took hold off the credit card but seriously doubt we will het money back for the room though he said we would . Then he also said Hot tub was up and operational. We got to this hotel once a year for probably 10 years but yesterday was our last trip . It will never happen again. Dishonest, deceptive to their customers!

Our room had such strong chemical smells to it, it almost smelled like some type of digger was used in the room before arriving. The smoke detectors had plastic bags over them, I’m assuming guests before us covered them up so they could smoke in the room

I would like my money back. We walked in to check it out before checking in and the pool area was disgusting. Also we just felt unsafe walking around for the short time we were there. So we left and found a room 30 miles north. Pictures are very deceiving.

The hotel room itself, was very nicely done. You could tell it had been updated. However the hallways and some of the main public areas had seen better days. They need to be bought up to speed. Otherwise it was pleasant and was very useful.

Our stay was very good. I was a little concerned about the facility upon arrival. There had been A LOT of rain that day and there was water leaking in various places in and around the lobby. As I walked through the area with the pools, the water color appeared green and cloudy—the next morning, they were not green so maybe it was just the lighting (there was some cloudiness). The hallways were clean but I think someone’s were smoking pot in their room as I could smell hints of it while I walked down the hall. Once in my room though- all was right. The room was super clean and the beds were comfortable. We had a good, quiet, restful night’s sleep
