View was fantastic from the patio balconies! Check in with Casie was easy upon our arrival as they live on-site in the primary dwelling. We rented the guest house. Parking was convenient and easy to turn around. The road leading to the place was typical of St. John and I would only describe the final climbs as slightly rough and very manageable.Location in Chocolate hole was very convenient to the town and markets. Nearly all beaches on the north shore were within 15-30 minutes by car.The house itself was clean and bright upon arrival. Our only complaint is that the furniture, cabinets, and patio doors had quite a bit of wear & tear. The kitchen was sparsely stocked with spices, napkins, utensils, etc. The appliances like the stove, outdoor grill, refrigerator, & dish washer were all in working order. Some of these missing items & condition did detract from the stay a little as minor frustrations.The A/C would keep up with cooling the bedroom and partially cool the living room & kitchen and fit our needs. When the weather was cooler and the breeze was strong, open air cooling was good.Now, since WAPA and the power situation is an ongoing issue, we were without power multiple days and 1 night. As a huge bonus, they had a generator to keep everything running. That was quite a relief & very appreciated.Overall, we spent most of our days at the beach and out & about. Our time & evening spent at the Breezy Hilltop was comfortable and we had a great time!

The ocean view is beautiful. The casita was everything we needed it to be. It was spacious and well stocked. The pull out couch was a little uncomfortable, but nothing you couldn't deal with. My only suggestion would be to add some window covers in the windows facing the family home on the property for some added privacy, but truly a great stay.

Gorgeous views in your own little house. The hosts are a family that live on site and you’re renting a small beach cottage on property. Totally private not weird at all. It’s a master bedroom and then a large living area with pullout couch. You have your own little kitchen, a little balcony and access to the pool. You’ll need to rent a car with four-wheel-drive to get there it is a steep hill to go to and I suggest the first time you arrive to arrive before sunset. St. John itself is absolutely gorgeous and the four-wheel-drive will come in handy exploring the island. The house is well equipped with towels and kitchen things you need if you are traveling with little ones there’s plenty of room I would recommend bringing non-perishable food, staples like mac & cheese or peanut butter or juice boxes or things like that because Food and goods are quite expensive on the island. There is both a regular coffee pot and a Keurig if you have the ability to pick up groceries in St. Thomas before taking the ferry over to St. John, you will have a better chance of getting more selection. It is a short drive to Cruz Bay go for swanky dinner to Morgan’s Mangi. The lime out is great too! Also, we hung out at Hawknest Beach. Ronnie’s Pizza is nearby which is American style pizza. There is an air conditioner. It doesn’t work that great, but you won’t need it because at night with the sliding door and ceiling fans it cooks down a lot. Excellent stay! Really a hidden gem.

Carnival

We stayed 5 nights during Carnival. The cottage was clean, beautiful, had an amazing view & sea breeze. The pool was lovely & rhe kids had so much fun. Casey is a fantastic host & we will definitely be back!

New Experience

We were looking forward to staying in a location with a pool. Sadly the owners had multiple young children that used the pool in the evenings when we back from our day out. This property was not listed as it is in person. Parking was up a small incline that was inconvenient and the walk into the villa was through the owners personal space where the children and a dog were usually outside playing or in the pool. We then had to go down stairs that were in serious disrepair along with the entire deck around the pool. Had we known we would be sharing the property with a family with multiple young children we would have not book this place. Not for a quite couples getaway

Clean and comfortable

This is a beautiful location overlooking Chocolate Hole. We never used the AC once because of the ocean breeze. Very comfortable bed, could hear the ocean when we slept, perfect layout out for us.

St. John's Stay

We spent a wonderful week at Casie's property perched high on a mountain side with a stunning view of the bay, beautiful sunrises, and bright moonlit nights! The place was clean and comfortable, and the checkin/checkout process was a breeze. Casie lives nearby so comms with her were easy and she always responded in a timely manner. We would absolutely consider returning to Casie's place on a future trip to St. John's.

Great place

We stayed for 5 nights. It’s a very nice place and included everything we needed. View was really pretty. The road getting to the place was an adventure. Rough and steep but you get use to it.

Stunning Lofty View!

Very nice casita with all the amenities needed just as described. We rented a jeep to get around the island & access the property. All went well with a kind & responsive host!

Misleading

Picture is not of the house you’re renting. It’s the view. Nice view. House needs repairs. Patio doors leak water and screens are coming off. Chairs on balcony need to be thrown out. Internet worked only half the time. Cooler was old and leaked. No sand chairs they were regular chairs. Had to rent beach chairs. Decking old and rotting. Not privacy. Needs TLC. Would not stay again

Well Appointed Casita

The place had everything that we needed. It was very clean and the location was close to Cruz Bay. The owner was very kind and informative. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. My only negatives would be that the beautiful view is mainly from the bedroom and the pool deck could use a little TLC. Neither would stop us from returning. Very nice place.

Relaxing stay in St John

Nice little guest house with beautiful views over Hart Bay. Very comfortable for two people. Kitchen well supplied to allow for some cooking. Beach towels and chairs provided, which was a bonus. Host on property and very responsive. Property is dependent on rain for all water, so necessary to conserve water (and purchase all drinking water). Pool deck could use some upkeep. Road to the house is not for the faint of heart - definitely need an SUV and have to drive carefully on the narrow/rough road, but worth it to be close to town and have nice views!

Amazing views make for an idyllic stay

Loved it.

We loved our stay here. Very clean and spacious for a couple with an awesome view and the breeze was the icing on the cake. Our host allowed us to use their beach chairs which were brand new so we didn’t have to pay for rentals at the beaches. We also had access to a small carry cooler which came is great for snacks and water. We gave five stars to all and would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful

The host/owners are very helpful and kind. We loved our stay on St. John. The island is truly amazing and definitely is a little slice of heaven. The location is very convenient and is pretty close to everything. The house is cute and has a great view and has everything that you would need to enjoy your stay. We would definitely consider staying there again.
