They cater to flight attendants, so I assumed it was probably a good hotel for it being older. Upkeep and customer service are not priorities. It took 5 people to get a to-go order at the restaurant. No hostess up front but when she got there, she left to find out who could take the order then sent me to a waitress station. The waitress there said she'd be with me in a minute then left to check seated customers. Next waitress asked if she could help then sent me to the bar. The person at the bar took my order, handed me a ticket with no signature lines and no pen and then disappeared. Another person at the bar asked if he could help I told him I had a to go order. He found it and got it started. While I waited he asked waitress #2 if she was glad to be back at work and with all the sarcasm she could muster she said she was. He told her he could cover her area and his. He was doing a great job, stayed busy, checked on people, wasnt overly friendly, didnt pretend to be busy. The staff restaurant dont seem to like or communicate with each other, so I knew I couldnt relax/return there. The hotel has popcorn ceilings which is expected, but not the brown stains, leaking areas, and missing light covers. The last day of my trip i realized there were cobwebs hanging from the ceiling corners of my room including the bathroom and part of the patio door opening. First time I EVER got stale/hard cookie at a Double Tree, but I got fresh ones later. Depressing location.

It was nice to stay the night and catch a very early flight the next morning. I always park my car at this hotel when I fly out of Seatac. It is a safe lot and the airport shuttle leaves on a regular schedule.

The hotel itself was convenient to the airport, but it was so large you had to walk forever just to get to your room. It’s buildings connected together by walkways and you had to walk far, then go down in the elevator cross a different building and then go back up again. It was very inconvenient.
