I will always stay here when I come to Boston!

This hotel was beautiful! I got one of the smaller (full sized bed) rooms and it was perfect for one person. The room was very clean and I couldn't hear any street noise.

Would not stay there again.....

Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. That is about it. Staff at front desk lacked enthusiasm and hospitality to enhance our stay.

Great place to stay

I was impressed by the friendly staff and the terrific location. Near the T, Copley Square and morning coffee places. The room was clean, comfortable and QUIET! I visit Boston frequently and will definitely be back

Inexpensive Hotel in Superb Location

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet
Cons: Noisy
The property is very well situated in Boston's Back Bay, surrounded by excellent, close restaurants. This hotel is not truly a full-service hotel. There is no doorman to help with the luggage. Even though there is a ramp for the luggage, it is not mentioned at the front door. Instead you have to drag your luggage up many stairs to get to the lobby level. Not easy for people with physical limitations. The walls are BEYOND PAPER THIN! This is a serious problem. Rooms are extremely small.

Service with a smile!

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
The hotel was easy to find and parking was one building over. Be sure not to pay full price for parking at the garage, Hotel 140 will give you a coupon. The young ladies at the front desk were very pleasant and helpful. The room & bathroom was very clean however very warm even with the A/C on. Location was good for a night out at Fenway and with the weather as perfect as it was, we ended up walking.

Good location, but misleading!

Pros: Close restaurants
Cons: No free Internet, Noisy
I chose the hotel based on the pictures and the write-up they advertised. These are very misleading! The room we stayed in was just big enough to fit a double bed in. The bathroom was very small, but very clean. Our floor had a bad odor to it, and the walls were very thin (heard neighbors all night). When I asked to switch rooms, the staff was not friendly or accommodating.

Small, modern, and comfortable

Pros: Free Internet, Quiet
The hotel was still renovating when I was a guest, but I could tell that it would be something special. The room was very modern with a European feel (small but comfortable). It is the perfect place for a single guest. Any more than one person would have been cramped in my room.
