The rooms and the building is very clean and thoughtfully designed. The staff are very kind, and responsive. The reception is not always staffed but that is not a problem as long as you have WhatsApp. The layout is a bit different. I was in a room , 34B and there’s 34A and 34C that share a kitchen, breakfast area , etc. This does mean that if there’s a family or group of friends late or early you will hear them, a lot. This probably is rare because everyone eats out, but it is something to be mindful of. The street noise is notable but with closed window and blinds it is ok. The location is absolutely great , close to public transit, walking distance from train station, yet far enough from it. Walking distance to all sights and shops , restaurants. And it’s a pleasant walk with the portiche and safe at night.

The room was exactly what we wanted for our short stay. We booked the superior room with balcony. Lots of space. Modern and well kept amenities. Super clean. Very friendly staff that were communicative before, during and after our stay. Convenient, short 15 mins walk from the train station. Close to everything we wanted to do in Bologna. Highly recommend.

The young woman at the front desk, was not helpful. I Needed to be at the airport at 5am on Sunday, I went to her on Saturday morning to ask her to help me order a taxi for the following morning and she was not able to help me. She provided only one taxi company that wanted to charge me a lot plus extra fee b/c it was earlier in the morning. I agreed to it but when she tried to book the reservation she said they are not available bc they are booked and that was the only taxi company they work with. She said that there was no one else that she can call to book a taxi ride. She made me feel that it would be difficult to find a car service at that hour without paying a lot of money and not guarantee they would show up. Thankfully a friend ordered a taxi and also but me at ease that the taxi would show up, opposite of what the front desk lady did. The taxi that was ordered by my friend charged me a fair rate The airport was a 15-20 minute car ride away. I didn’t feel that alma Rossi front desk lady was helpful at all also in giving me recommendations to places to eat or things to see. Extremely disappointed!!

I’ll definitely stay here again! A warm welcome by staff and my room was readily available upon check-in. I was pleasantly surprised of the beautiful, simple and spacious one bedroom apartment (living room, dining table, kitchen with mini fridge, electric stove, microwave, coffee maker, and kitchenware). Very clean and open. I love the many windows that brought in natural sunlight and fresh air. I did not mind the late night chatter & noise in the streets below. If you are sensitive to noise, ear plugs were provided. If you’re like me who has late night cravings, I went to the local markets and kept handmade pasta and wine in the mini fridge. Gelato did not make it back haha. There is a lift that fits at most three people without luggage/one person with large luggage. Spiral stairs next to the lift if you don’t want to wait. Safe and Great location! About 10-15 minutes to walk to Bologna Centrale train station, Piazza Maggiore, and/or University of Bologna. If you have luggage like me, about 10 euros each way to/from Bologna Centrale train station. Staff recommended Uber app for easy and faster service. There are multiple bus stops within 5 minutes walk. Take the line 20 bus (2.5 euros for a few hours better than a fine without a ticket. When you get on the bus, look for a red box to deposit your euros) and stop at “Croce” to walk the world’s longest Portico Di San Luca. So amazingly worth the walk to the top! Grazie Mille Almarossa! Arrivederci alla prossima volta!

The hotel is very conveniently located a short walk from the city center. There are many restaurants and cafes close by. The staff is very helpful and kind. The rooms are spacious. It is on a busy street with lots of noise, so if you are a light sleeper, bring earplugs.

Convenient location but very noisy from street noise. If you opened the window for fresh air (necessary) the street noise was LOUD. Delivery of breakfast to your room was convenient and well priced.

The room was exceptionally clean and the furniture was in pristine condition. The staff was extremely polite and, helpful. The one negative comment would be the noise level coming from the streets. We were on the fifth floor and ear plugs did not help.

The hotel was about 10-15 minute walk to the historical centre. It was on a big street so it was fairly loud but quieted down at night so we had no problem sleeping. We opened the windows during the day time because there was a mild smell in the room. The size of the room was large, with a separate sitting room and small kitchen. Check out time was slightly earlier than some other hotels (10:30am), but they held our bags. They also had lockers in the basement you could use to store your bags. They had a nice garden sitting area we only found on the last day. We will probably opt to stay closer to center of town next time.

The room was very clean and bright and quiet with a balcony and shutters for privacy. We did not have breakfast because we did not order it in time and I don’t recall being informed about it upon check in. There is a guest laundry. Room with free machines, 4 washers and a dryer. All are slower than American models.
