Short stay - mostly good value for money

Had stayed here before, generally good value for the money and quite comfy rooms, though this time none of the nice rooms were available: a 5th floor room to the front with balcony doors not closing well receives a lot of noise from the street, and an internal room on the 2nd floor is a little dark and there was some construction noise. The hotel should really get some more TV channels, the selection is extremely limited. Basic breakfast included. Plenty of decent lunch-type restaurants close by (university area), nice gym next door.

The location is great. Easy in and out to downtown and the various neighborhoods; easy to get to the airport (under 25min!... I've stayed in other zones and it always take at least one hour). The staff is friendly; our room was small for two people but fine for one. We did not stay much in the room so that was not an issue. Food options are more or less available (we did not find much on Saturday night nearby); it is also safe because of the proximity to the university. There are two very conveniently located express supermarkets and very close bus stops. We loved the location.

Well taken care of, clean hotel close to universities, restaurants, Transmilenio bus and a large park. Room had a very comfy king-size bed, the building was quiet and breakfast better than at most hotels of this price range. Good value for money. Room was of decent size and bright, it faced the busy 7th Avenue so had a bit of a view, though that also meant that early mornings there was a bit of traffic noise despite the (large) double-pane windows.

Lots of little problems

Could be a nice hotel. Right across from university. Lots of construction going on day and night. Bed was comfortable. Shower had hot water and good water pressure. But there were lots of little problems. Had to stand outside in a construction zone when I arrived because there was no one to let me in. Construction was LOUD in the upper levels of the hotel. Also, the construction on the street goes all night. No internet in the room, only in the common area. Elevator not working when I left - so had to lug everything downstairs. They called me a yellow taxi - the worst part - and the guy started talking to someone else on Whatsapp about me (my spanish is bad, but I can understand it OK), then he tried to take me to the north of the city, when I was going to the west. Finally I argued with him about the direction we were going and he took me to my destination. Called the hotel. They said they'd look into it, but I never heard back. I'd try someplace else.

I was only one day there but in that day did not like a lot the facility. The receptionist was ok; the room did not have heater, have a light bulb no working; the breakfast es poor. Well overall for the price I did not expect more.

Solid three star hotel

Solid three star hotel. Minor points for improvement are: coffee quality, TV needs more English channels (including English news channels), and some staff members need to treat frequent guests with respect, courtesy and to acknowledge their patronage instead of conveying petty hotel policies. The latter points are minor irritants in the grand scheme of things. The hotel is also situated in a good area with lots of amenities.

This is a basic hotel. It is the right relation for money and value. Basic breakfast and good location. Hotel front desk provides very basic info about services in the area so use your wi-fi and do your own research.

Clean safe hotel close to a major university

Clean and safe hotel with very nice staff in front of Javeriana University in the main artery of Bogota : carrera septima. 40 minute walk to the Gold Museum and the historic downtown district and if you go in the opposite direction you can reach the elegant Zona Rosa. If you do not want to walki, taxis are many and relatively cheap from there.
