Overall disappointing. Was given a nice room on ground floor. However, the room was freezing cold and barely warmed up an hour later. We were offered another room on same floor which was also cold. After much complaining a very helpful housekeeper reassured that YES, these ground floor rooms are the coldest but Receptionists are probably not aware. With her intervention and 2 hours later a warmer room was found. A free drink was offered. My conclusion is that IHG try to minimise heating costs of rooms pre-rental and try to 'play you off' by suggesting some guests like cold rooms so its a personal preference. I do prefer rooms to be cooler but certainly not like an igloo - p.s. it was also Valentines Night so not a night that I wanted to keep my coat on all evening. In the end, Receptionists resolved kindly and stresslessly (thank you) although there was a lot of unnecessary hassle that spoiled our arrival and evening

It was “good” not great. The stay was for six nights so we both had packed a suitcase as this was the first leg of a month journey. When we began unpacking we realized there was no place to put our clothes Yes there was a wardrobe with six hangers but the ironing board was also in there. We were told none of the rooms had dressers. Amazing as this is a conference center. Staff were apologetic but there was no resolution to this situation.

Parking is horrific, they have an auto system, that fines you even when you have paid, they will then refund you, but if its a hire car, Avis will have paid it and added an admin charge. sorting it was a horror show, while the hotel did cancel their side, their incompetence cost me hours with avis, and the hotel had no intention of actually doing anything helpful. driving though the car park is... don't have a large car. GET A DECENT CAR PARK. Room was cold, a sad electric heater was in the room so they knew it was. Bathroom a bit grotty, several lights broken (they did come and fix). Coffee at breakfast was shockingly disgusting (think they got it from a burnt building). there are better options down the road.
