The pictures of your property are beautiful, but unfortunately, they did not reflect several issues we encountered during our stay. I wanted to reach out directly to share our experience, as it ended up being far less satisfactory than we expected.The most concerning issues were related to safety:1 The spindle at the top of the staircase is missing. This is not visible in the photos and presents a serious fall hazard, especially since we had mentioned that a toddler/baby would be with us. Which cause one of the parties with the toddler not to stay with us for more than 1 day.2 The bathroom doors do not close properly and do not lock. With multiple families sharing the home, privacy becomes an important concern.3 One of the kitchen drawers pulls completely out because it appears to be missing a support/foot. This nearly caused an accident, multiple times.4 The flooring in several areas is uneven and was not very clean. Combined with the rolled rug, this created a noticeable tripping hazard.There were also a few logistical issues we encountered during our stay. I wanted to reach out directly to share:First we did not receive a code to the house until 3:30 for a 3:00 check in.• Basic items and information were missing, including toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning supplies, and clear check-in/check-out instructions.**Most important, the host was completely unavailable. We tried to call and text through VRBO multiple times with no response from the host.
