Horrible - Refund Immediately (did not stay)
Owner/ Host/ Property Manager slow to respond and repetitively skips over your inquiries and request. Issues experienced at the property as follows:
- Several windows are missing screens and left open
- House was unlocked upon arrival (safety issue)
- Lockbox code already entered (safety issues)
- Several mosquitoes and other insects in the home
- Crumbs on the tables, chairs and floors.
- Smoke detector beeping due to low battery
- House not listed as no a/c or central ventilation (health concerns), however house rules tell me not to adjust temperature but there is no thermostat.
- Fans are the only option which did not help on extremely hot and humid days with excessive heat warnings in July.
Owner/host/Property manager held my funds though a refund request was placed by both VRBO and I when I never stayed at the property, left 1 & 1/2 hours after arrival due to the issues stated above. The only reason I was there for an hour & 1/2 was due to being on call with VRBO in attempt to reach the owner/host. This length of call occurred twice to attempt to resolve, instead owner/ host emails me to say he is looking into each day for 3 days and ignores my refund request.
