This is our first Hard Rock. Just wanted to give it a try. We got a room with a view at the Platinum Tower. The view is spectacular. But the room is old. Needing some minor repairs/repainting. Cabinet for mini fridge will not close as it was hitting the closet cabinet. You get the rockstar lighting which is dim and dark. We were not there for the casino and it’s more of stop from our long drive. So can’t provide feedback on that. Pool is beautiful and gym is decent. Casual food options is good especially for a short stay.

The Hard Rock is ok. Needs some attention as far as upkeep and maintenance. Staff is hit or miss, some were great and a couple were just rude. They had so many people walking around the casino who’s job looked to be cleaning you would think the place would be spotless but I think they have so many that they really didn’t have accountability. I didn’t see any of them doing much honestly. For every one cocktail waitress there was at least 5 or 6 walking around somewhat cleaning up and emptying trash. Correct management of that would free up enough payroll to take care of the things that needs attention. Casino is mediocre and that’s visible from the amount of people playing there vs the amount of people playing next door. I don’t think I have ever played at a casino where the machines seemed so tight. I didn’t see but one person hit anything decent the whole time I was there which seemed odd. Other than the occasional excitement at the craps table it just seemed dead especially compared to next door. Maybe people stay at hard rock because it’s cheaper and play next door or at least that’s how it seemed.

The room was dirty, the staff was not attentive. We had to ask three times for towels after not having them when we initially arrived. The hotel was just rundown so we left a whole day early. We just didn’t want to stay anymore.
