The home was stunning in its design and decor and the kitchen was absolutely stocked with tools and spices and everything you could imagine to find! The surround sound throughout the house was a really nice touch and we really enjoyed the wood burning fireplace once we got the habit down of setting a 55 minute timer to reset the fan system to keep the smoke from filling the house. The ski-in ski-out access wasn’t entirely accurate IMO. We had to walk down the street and cross the main road to access the cat track to take to Madison 8. Catching the small lift back home took a “miss” to get it right (also had to take off skis to cross the street and get up to the loading zone for the lift). So I think ski-in ski-out is a bit generous (note: we were visiting during an unseasonably warm week and the melt was definitely a factor in the number of times we had to remove our skis and walk). I would love to have said we slept well but the pillows were pretty thin and meek. The master bed was somewhat comfortable but not what my expectation would be for the level of elegance elsewhere within the house. More attention to the sleep experience would be an easy improvement. The only other negative (and the only reason I didn’t give 5 stars for cleanliness) is the base boards in the living area and bathrooms had a lot of cumulative hair and dust, which was pretty gross to see - especially throughout the bathrooms. The management company did apologize for this oversight.
