Bathroom was clean with a good shower, however the extractor fan was very, very loud and sounded like it could explode at any time (reported). Major negative was Hotel.com site advertised as FREE parking, however there is a £5 per day charge now.

A week later received notice of £100 fine for non-payment of parking charge for the 12 hours 38 minutes of my stay. My credit card statement confirms payment of £5 to Days Inn Michaelwood. I will not be staying there again. I do not need the hassle.
