Berg en Zee 1 is located on the second floor and has 2 balconies and lots of sun. The apartment has a large flat screen TV, a spacious bathroom, 2 bedrooms and free wifi. The spacious living room has a nice sitting area and a door to the balcony (south side). The open kitchen is equipped with a dining table with 4 chairs, refrigerator, 4-burner stove and kitchen appliances. The bathroom has a toilet, sink and shower. There are 2 spacious bedrooms with excellent beds and closet. From 1 bedroom you have access to a 2nd balcony. Berg en Zee 1 is ideally located between the "mountains" of the beautiful dune area and the North Sea, only 150 meters from the beach. For a carefree vacation Berg en Zee 1 is the right place.
You can park directly to the right of the entrance of the building for free on one of the private parking spaces. For the rest, parking in the village is chargeable. You can open and use the room on the right side of the building with your key. There is a washing machine and dryer there, which are also used by the other residents. Also you can safely park your bike in the room.

Leider enttäuschend - Wohnung 503
Wir wurden vorab informiert, dass die gebuchte Wohnung (501) aufgrund eines Wasserschadens nicht verfügbar ist. Wir wurden umgebucht auf eine andere Wohnung (503) in dem Haus. Auf unsere Rückfrage, ob diese Wohnung auch baugleich sei, da das wichtig für uns war, wurde dies bestätigt. Angekommen mussten wir feststellen, dass das nicht der Fall war.
Wir haben zwar zwei Schlafzimmer vorgefunden, jedoch glich eines einer Abstellkammer - es gab KEIN Fenster!! In dem anderen ließ sich die Heizung gar nicht aufdrehen und es war extrem kalt- durchgehend.
Weiterhin war die Wohnung sehr kalt und wir haben den gesamten Freitagabend und Samstagvormittag mit den Bettdecken auf dem Sofa verbringen müssen, da es sonst einfach zu kalt war. Als wir noch am Freitag unseren Kontakt anschrieben, schickte man uns ein Foto eines Thermostates, mit dem Hinweis, dass wir dort die Heizung regulieren können. Nach mehrmaligen absuchen der Wohnung, mussten wir feststellen, dass es kein Thermostat gibt. Den Kontakt wieder angeschrieben, bekamen wir einfach keine Antwort mehr…
Sehr schwach, nachdem es schon bei der Anreise und später auch bei der Abreise keinen persönlichen Kontakt gab.
Allgemein ist die Ausstattung der Wohnung dürftig und für vier Personen eher übersichtlich und knapp bemessen.
Vieles scheint relativ neu zu sein, aber eben nicht richtig gepflegt (Loch im Waschbecken, bereits angerostetes Spiegelschrank, durchgesessenes Sofa….).
Alles in allem, enttäuschend.

Erster Holland-Urlaub
Positiv zu bewerten sind die Betten, die frische Bettwäsche war hygienisch verpackt. Es gab immer heißes Wasser und die Dusche ist groß.
Aber die Ausstattung der Küche sollte dringend ergänzt bzw. aufgerüstet werden. 2 Müslischalen für 4 Personen ist doch sehr dürftig. Alternativ gab es auch keine tiefen Teller oder ähnliches. Die Töpfe und die eine Pfanne sind eher für einen 1-Personen-Haushalt geeignet.
Es steht so wenig Geschirr zur Verfügung, dass man jedes Mal gleich spülen muss. Es gibt nur ein Spülbecken, keine Abstell-/Abtropfmöglichkeit für das nasse Geschirr. (wir haben uns mit dem Backblech beholfen)
Ärgerlich war auch, dass beim Handtuchpaket keine Duschvorlage dabei ist. Ebenso fehlen bei Belegung mit 4 Personen Handtuchhalter (die Wand bietet Platz genug)
Wäre das Wetter besser gewesen, hätte ich nicht gewusst, wie wir unsere Standwäsche trocknen sollen - kein Wäscheständer vorhanden.
Der Staubsauger macht viel Krach und riecht übel.
Für den Preis hatten wir uns die Wohnung etwas anders vorgestellt.

Toller Service vor Ort
Der Service war super. Leider gab es in der Wohnung einen Wasserschaden, aber das kann ja passieren. Der Geruch war nicht schön- aber man hat sich toll gekümmert.
