I enjoyed my stay at Pioneer Park Condos very much. I went over to Bend to spend my birthday on May 5th. The condo and the surroundings were as expected and as advertised; very nice!! My problem was with the check in!!! I arrived earlier than expected, but knew check in time was at 4. I walked around until after 4, came back to my room not being ready. The front desk told me she would call when the room was ready. No call until approx 5:30. I stopped at the office and got the code for the door, and it wouldn’t work. Tried several times, but still couldn’t get in. I’m exhausted from a long drive and now unable to settle into the condo I had reserved! I went again to the front desk obviously unhappy, and told her the door wouldn’t open for me. She said she would meet me at the condo and try the code herself. No luck for her either!! Maintenance guy is called, it’s now after 6pm! He needs to change the battery on the door lock. Finally, I’m able to get in, but only through one out of the 2 doors to the condo. No problem, but I’m still annoyed and inconvenienced by the late check in over 2 hours following check in time at 4pm. I am told by the woman at the front desk that I will receive a discount for the inconvenience. We’ll see, so stay tuned!
