Beautiful House
The house is tucked back at the end of a very private street and surrounded by woods and the creek. Access to the creek is easy for most people and kids. The back porch is also a great place to easily enjoy the creek. The inside was overall well equipped. The only thing lacking was forks...Otherwise, it was large, beautiful, and peaceful. My only issue was with communication with the rental company. They chose to only communicate via email and phone call, rather than VRBO. Not a huge issue besides the fact that I received 12 emails and multiple calls! They sent the same email 3 days apart and that was 2.5 months before my stay. They insisted on knowing the exact ages and names of everyone in our 14 person party. This is an overreach, especially because 6 of them were minors... Ironically, in the 12 emails of mostly useless information, they did not send check-out instructions until I asked for them.I have never been bombarded by any property management of any type like this. 12 emails and multiple phone calls just to "let me know they were available" does not equate customer service, it was excessive... I hope the property owner finds a new property manager because Carolina Cabin Rentals is not it.
