An exclusive apartment, a manor building, in a privileged environment.
Live the authentic Barcelona staying in a luxury and unique historic apartment.
From the balconies of its sixth floor, you will enjoy the magnificent views of Casa Batlló and Paseo de Gracia, the most emblematic avenue of Barcelona. You will stay in what is said to be the best block of the city.
A HOME WITH HISTORY
Buenaventura Conill i Montobbio, modernista architect, disciple and a close friend of Gaudí, built this building to live with his family and see every day the work of his teacher. Thanks to Buenaventura grandfather, we have had our home in an unique building with plenty of history.
The apartment, 220m2 keeps the original moldings but it is being renovated with all the comforts. It has a total of 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. It has a spacious kitchen-dining room. The main living room is sunny and spacious, it has two balconies overlooking the Paseo de Gracia and the “Manzana de la Discordia” where it is the Casa Batlló and other flagship buildings of the Modernism: Casa Amatller and Casa LLèo i Morera.
There are two lifts in the building, two doormen, one during the day (9am-1pm/ 4pm-7pm) and another one during the night.(11pm/5am). They control that all guests that stay in the apartments respect the rules of the building. You will be in a luxury building and your safety and wellness is a priority for us.

CONCIERGE SERVICE
We can provide a personal concierge service that can help you to enjoy your stay/visit. They can organize transfers from/to the airport, buy tickets, organize tours or visits.. whatever you need.

THE DISTRICT
The district is incomparable. Staying in the center of Barcelona means that you can walk to the main places of interest. Moreover, just a few steps from the house you have a metro and a railway station, a stop of several buses and a taxi rank. And if you want to rent a car there is a car park just outside the building with AVIS service.
Staying here you can enjoy having the landmark buildings of Modernism, the luxury shops: Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Chanel ..... and the most famous tapas or Michelin stars restaurants, all in the same street.
Moreover you will find all the comforts of a friendly neighborhood: traditional market, supermarkets, small shops, coffe shops and charming restaurants.

In Barcelona there is a tourist tax of €6,88 per person/night up from 16 years old, with a maximum of seven nights, , to be paid at the check-in in the apartment.

I cannot express enough how wonderful our stay was at this apartment in Barcelona. Host Pilar and Javier made our Christmas celebration a home away from home. They went above and beyond to help us have a fantastic Christmas. The home is clean, organized, well supplied, bed linens and towels are clean and plentiful. The location is central and perfect. I highly recommend this property.

This was more of an experience than a simple place to stay. With the period correct decor and architecture for when the building was constructed really made it an enjoyable stay. Pilar was a great host and welcomed us when we arrived and gave us a tour of the apartment as well as the rich history. Also were recommendations of where to shop and eat.We used their concierge service for numerous tours and meals which was great too. They took care of suggesting places to eat, see and do, and took care of all the reservations and transfers. This made our vacation much more enjoyable not having to stress about going to a good place or how to get there. We had numerous flight delays and cancelations just hours before our departure from Barcelona, and the concierge service took care of all the transfer pickup time changes. This was one less item for us to worry about during the stressful time of flight changes.The views from both the front room balconies as well as the back bedrooms were spectacular.We traveled with our adult children, and the multiple bedrooms and bathrooms made it very comfortable to spread out, allowing them to have personal time and space if they wanted. The apartment seemed much larger than anticipated which was awesome.

For a family or for a group, looking for a centrally-located, large and beautiful apartment in a classic and very secure Passeig de Gracia building with sweeping views of the city, this property simply can’t be beat. Look no further. Pilar and Javier are gracious hosts. Communication prior to our trip was excellent and at check-in, Javier met us at the property to help get us oriented and settled-in. The apartment was a perfect balance between old world sophistication and modern day comforts. It had every amenity that one would expect to find at this level along with many thoughtful extras. Our week-long stay in Pilar and Javier’s former home was one of the many highlights of a fantastic and memorable trip to Barcelona. Highly-recommended.

First time to Barcelona

My family of 5 had a fantastic stay at this apartment in Barcelona! The location couldn’t have been better—right in the heart of the city, with easy access to everything. Evenings on the balcony with views of Gaudi’s Casa Batlló at night are worth a visit alone!The apartment itself was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. What really made the experience stand out, though, was the host—super friendly, helpful, and welcoming from start to finish. Passeig De Gràcia Elegance

Enjoyed a two week stay with our adult children in late April at this beautiful and historic residence. It is very accurately described - in the heart of the bustling Gràcia neighborhood yet private by virtue of its view from above. We could not have asked for a better situation to explore all the city has to offer or simply watch in comfort as the day passed below our windows and balconies. Clean, safe, welcoming, responsive, comfortable in every way - all the good words! We look forward to returning to Barcelona and would absolutely choose to stay here again. Thank you to our hosts!

Best Vrbo EVER!

What an amazing Vrbo! We are at a loss for superlatives, but we will try. We love the city of Barcelona, its Catalan culture, and the many amazing expressions of the Moderniste architecture movement. On previous trips we have stayed in luxury hotels. BUT this time our family got to live the dream and stay in this stunning historic four-bedroom family apartment (worthy of Architectural Digest), with a balcony overlooking UNESCO World Heritage site Casa Batlló and Casa Amatller (pinch me, right?). The icing on the cake, however, was our hosts treating us like we were long-lost cousins with so many personal and truly thoughtful touches; the kind we try to extend to our own houseguests. A multi-course gourmet welcome dinner cooked by professional chefs?!!! Small-ish things like voltage converters, maps of the area showing where to find the pharmacy, the supermarket, a nice local restaurant. Well-appointed kitchen, comfortable beds, lots of light, fully wheelchair accessible. And then, next-level things like a concierge service, personally stocking our kitchen with a wide array of food and beverage, and matching our interests in architecture and foodie culture with their connections with local experts. Seriously, above and beyond on every level. We will never stay anywhere else when visiting this incredible city. Thank-you from the bottom of our hearts, Pilar and Javier!

Perfect apartment with gorgeous views!

Javier met is upon arrival and brought us up to his beautiful apartment. He gave us a tour and shared the fascinating history of his home. The apartment was beautiful and we were overwhelmed with the incredible street view from the family and dining areas. We had everything we needed to feel at home. Javier even had champagne and pastries waiting for us in the kitchen. Thank you for a wonderful stay…what a treat!

This Place Is A Dream

When we saw this listing on VRBO we instantly new this is exactly what we were looking for, but almost believed it didn't exist. Everything was as advertised with an un unbelievable view of Casa Battlo (one of Antoni Gaudí's famous works of architecture), and the heart of Barcelona itself. The public is truly blessed by the owners' decision to share this wonderful property and its rich history. Thank you for the unforgettable experience.

Great location and nice apartment

The location of this apartment is outstanding and the owner took the time to greet us personally on arrival which would normally be a huge positive but this felt more like an interview. It somewhat put us off after a long day of travel - would much rather have been given a five minute overview and then be left alone. Overall the apartment is nice and spacious and again, a great location.

More than a home base, it felt like home!

5 stars are not enough! This apartment was beautiful, spacious and had everything we needed plus the location was stellar being across from Casa Batlló, being in a historic building, and easy access to transportation and even walking distance! We were made to feel right at home as soon as we arrived, being greeted by Javier, the host, who gave us a mini tour of the apartment and Daniel from YouStylish, the concierge service company, who also made all of our planning amd activities so easy for us. Communication with Pilar, the hostess, and Ana also from YouStylish,was also excellent. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. We miss Barcelona already and can’t wait to return!

Paradise in Barcelona

An absolutely beautifully maintained and expansive apartment easily accommodating 8 people. We were only four. Sixth floor view across the street from Batlló....what more can I say.... a gem. Pilar was easy to communicate with and very informative when we met and had a tour of the apartment. She recommended many beautiful sites and restaurants. We also had a concierge, Daniel, who was equally as wonderful. We could not recommend this place more.

Amazing Apartment

Hands down the best VRBO experience I’ve ever had. Total communication from the minute we arrived in Barcelona. Usually you have to hope and pray that the check in instructions are clear and accurate, but they instructed us to call when we got to the airport. After which we were met at the front door and walked through the whole process. We were given a tour and they even prepared maps, food and entertainment recommendations . The apartment itself is amazing full of history and beautiful architecture. The location is unbeatable with views of one of the most famous blocks in Barcelona. In fact Casa Batlo is directly across the street. I cannot say enough nice things about our stay there, it was a truly special experience. When I return to Barcelona I will definitely stay here again.

BEYOND INCREDIBLE

I cannot begin to summarize our stay at this property! The location is perfect, the apartment is elegant, comfortable and ideal for experiencing all that Barcelona has to offer. The balcony and view of Casa Batllò were breathtaking. Everything is meticulously curated to provide serenity, luxury and a one of a kind experience! However, what sets this property apart from every other we have ever stayed was the service we received from both the management company and the owners themselves! They attended to every detail and went above and beyond to make sure that our every need was not only met but exceeded! I could never say enough kind words or praise that would be sufficient! The property is steeped in history and the family has done a stellar job of preserving their legacy. The memories we made while staying here will last a lifetime. Anyone would be LUCKY to have the opportunity to stay here and we will certainly be back!!

Amazing location, amazing apartment, amazing amenities. Owner and agency were extremely helpful and communicative. The apartment itself felt like home from the moment we walked in. We will definitely be back thank you so much for making our stay in Barcelona so memorable.

The absolute best!

Our stay at Pilar and Javier’s place could not have been better - the location is unbeatable, the apartment is spectacular, and their hospitality was so warm and welcoming. We hope to stay here many times in the future - if I could give 10 stars I would!

Fantastic Barcelona Adventure

We stayed for 3 nights with my wife, my son, my daughter-in-law, and 2 granddaughters. The location is great. Right in the heart of town. The apartment is roomy with all of the comforts of home. Javier showed us around when we first arrived and gave us the historical perspective. We would highly recommend this place for families who want a comfortable home in a great location!

We can’t thank the owners enough for a wonderful stay. The apartment is beautiful and the location is perfect. The concierge was extremely helpful organizing transportation, dinner reservations, and tickets. We appreciate everyone's efforts. It made our stay very seamless and enjoyable.
