The Space:
Welcome to my 125 m2 three-bedroom apartment! My flat is spacious, with discrete and modern decor and a relaxed feel. The living area is bright and airy, with a large, comfy sofa, a super comfortable armchair, and flat-screen TV, so sit back and make yourself at home! A gorgeous terrace, large windows and an integrated dining area with a table. Enjoy a fresh beverage on the terrace while making your plans around the city! This is my favorite place in the house, make yourself at home with family or business groups. You’ll also find everything you need to prepare a quick meal, prepare snacks for a day out to the beach or cook up in the fully-equipped kitchen. All the appliances are modern and easy to use, including a coffee machine, toaster, and a microwave.
⚠️ VERY IMPORTANT Please note the apartment is located in a residential building, where neighbors live here all year around and it is our obligation to respect their rest. Walls are very thin and other residents of the building very sensitive to noises. Please make sure before confirming your reservation you can adhere to the simple House Rules that are detailed below. Failure to accept and follow those will result on a monetary sanction and eviction from the property with no refund for the remaining nights.

The Neighborhood:
The Eixample is a modernist district that stretches from Plaça de Catalunya and includes both residential and business areas. It is the neighbourhood where you can find Carrer de Valencia, in which the apartment is situated. It’s known for its grid system of straight streets, which was built in the 1860s to accommodate the city’s rising population. There are many restaurants and cafes in this region, which is full of modernist structures with stone and iron embellishments on their façade.
Getting Around:
The closest metro station is Passeig de Gracia (Lines 2, 3 & 4).
The quickest way to go to the airport would be taking the train towards "Aeroport" at Passeig de Gracia. There are trains every 20min and it costs around 5€.

*** TOURIST TAX & REGISTRATION PROCESS ***
- Since 2012 the Catalan administration requires that every guest staying in a hotel room or renting an apartment in Catalunya contributes with a small city tax fee of 9.50€ per guest (over 17 years old) per night up to a maximum of 7 nights. This cost IS NOT included on your reservation..
- National and International police demand that each guest, prior to their visit to Barcelona, would send information of their IDs or passports. This is mandatory, as it is stated in Catalan Law, and all legal touristic establishments are required to do so.

Very clean and comfortable apartment - having four out of five as women, the 2 bathrooms were a must. Beds are comfortable with spacious rooms. Location is close enough to get around; found a great Asian restaurant within 5 minute walk. This worked well for our family.

The place is well located. Double glazed windows keep it quite. Soap in small rations for dishes and for showering. Virtual entry system dod not work gor one of our phones and there is no place at yhe street level to enter manual code no cofee filter provided.
Walking distance from La Rambla, Passeig de Gracia, La Pedrera, Casa Batllo and metro stations. I enjoyed the neighbourhood a lot and we tried some restos nearby (Kanada-Ya Ramen is amazing). The appartment was clean and the kitchen is really cute. The supermarket accross the street is practical since the appartment is absolutely empty. The host replies in the minute and can answer your questions. My only negative comment is there is space for up to 8 people but not enough cutlery, bowls, mugs, cups and glasses. You should add these in the cupboards! Other than that I still recommend.
The unit suited my spouse and two adult children well. Comfortable living space and ac worked well in bedrooms. It was centrally located with plenty of nice restaurant choices nearby. The outdoor patio was nice to have, albeit could use a little maintenance and maybe the removal of the junk to the side. The one issue we had was the construction on the rooftop. Friday and Monday morning they began well before 9 and it was jackhammering. Not a pleasant way to be woken. I was able to go ask them to stop until later and the workers were very nice about it.

The rooftop is severely damaged, we informed the host but he didn’t do anything about in. 3rd night someone injured himself so bad we had to take him to the hospital. Besides that,

Disappointing
The apartment was not perfectly clean at our arrival, dirty curtains, hairs on the floor, dust on the furnishings.There are several cupboards broken, these damages were not visible on the photos on the vrb home page. The shower heads do not remain fix on their holder when you take a shower, the host replied that they will resolve this problema after our stay.The actual situation of the apartment does not correspond with the photos on the home page. Most of the mattresses are horrible, in one bedroom they are noisy, in another bedroom they are on two different heights although being a double bed, so there is a "scale" between the mattresses.The bedrooms are on the street side and noisy when the windows are open, although the host told us that apartment is quiet.The apartment is in a comfortable and beautiful zone of Barcellona, but the price is too high for the services the apartment offers. However, the host was friendly because he/she allowed us to enter some hours before the check-in to leave our luggage the first day and then come back at the check-in time.
