Ghosted by owner and no access, resolution difficult

We were a group of 12, no communication from host and never any access information given. Left us with no place to stay on a summer weekend off the coast of Maine, two hours on the phone with VRBO. Never again

Do not book this house!

We booked this house for a family vacation and paid in full in April to stay in June. The property owner took our money but never gave us any check in information or responded to any emails. The day of arrival, we still had not heard from the property owner, they would not respond to phone calls or emails. As a result we were not able to access this property and had to scramble the day of to try and find different logging for 9 people all coming from out of state. We still have not received a refund for this house. Also, we went to the address that this house had listed and it was a different house than what was posted in the pictures. Please be aware and do not give them your money.
