The room stunk of cigarette smoke, there were roaches in the drawers, the bed was as hard as a rock and the water was turned off for 2 hours on my second day. I left after the 1st night and found another hotel!!!

Only stayed for a few hours on a stopover between Bangkok and Chiang Mai. It was adequate for the $18 I paid. The shower was hot(ish), and there was air conditioniing.

The location is superb for night life, bars etc. and the staff are on duty 24/7. It is an old building but the room was large and they clean every day and provide 1l of bottled water every day as part of cleaning.

Do not accommodate

I didn't get the hotel I booked looking at the web site and diverted to a untidy adjoining hotel which was way bad standards. So noisy around the hotel because of the construction of buildings and even could not take a rest during the day time. Toilets are very untidy and small.

Overpriced dirty room.

I've stayed in a number of hotels alone soi 4 and this by far was the worst for cleanliness. It sould be well below 500 baht a night. Daily cleanings are non existence and you have to change own towels and water yourself. I would not stay here again.
