The service staff at breakfast was excellent. Breakfast order was consistent with what I expect from Shang. The receptionist at check in at Garden Wing seems clueless sending me back to KrungTiep wing accounting for my 2//3 rating. The concierge service at KrungTiep wing was disappointing unlike the Team at Garden Wing.

Comfortable and clean room with a fabulous view of the river. Great location for getting to Icon Siam, Song Wat Road, Chinatown night market, Talat Noi and Chatachuk Weekend Market. You can have one of the best hotel breakfasts with a view of the river, a wide choice of eastern and western dishes served by warm and friendly staff.

This is one of the best places my wife and I have ever stayed! We’ve travelled all over the world, all of Europe, UK, Iceland, Tokyo etc. The concierge services were always phenomenal. The staff that manned the door and arrival area always kept an eye on us and helped with taxis and Tuk Tuk service. The front desk were amazing! The hotel was chic, modern, ultra clean, and located in a perfect spot on the river, just across from IconSiam Mall, with a free boat ride back and forth! My favorite thing? BREAKFAST!! We were stunned by the quality and quantity of the breakfast foods from all over the world! We tried every countries breakfast foods and it was stunning! This hotel is magnificent. We’re already planning a return trip to Bangkok and this is the place we will stay. 100% recommendation!

We had a spectacular Premier balcony room with a corner of windows overlooking the river! It was perfectly cleaned each day and perfect in every way. I recommend to splurge on this. The buffet at the Next2 Cafe had an impressive array of delicious offerings. The location was also near perfect within walking distance to breakfast, lunch , dinner, massage, MRT, ferries, and even a money exchange next door. A great base to explore anywhere you want to go. The pool was great to enjoy after a hot day around town. The service was also impressive in every aspect. We took the complementary shuttle service to the pier area multiple times a day. Every staff member greeted us with a smile and a welcome back. We also stayed in 5 star hotels in Shanghai and Singapore during our trip, but this was the best overall experience. Now I know why it’s called the Shangri-La!

The facility was clean and had great options in terms of in house restaurants and service. It was close to everything we wanted to go to, but is about 45mins or so to and from BKK.

Spacious room, very clean. Despite of apparently being old, the hotel is in very good conditions. Restaurants , bars and swimming pool are great but a bit pricy. The river shuttle to the mall is very convenient. Staff is great
