Still grand and beautiful

The lobby still has its old-world grandeur and charm, yet it's been beautifully updated, well-maintained, and sparkling clean. The breakfast is superior to what we've experienced at other hotels. Despite the noise of the surrounding streets, once we step into the hotel, it feels like an oasis of calm.

The buffet was expensive, I believe 1000 baht per person, but excellent. I have stayed 5 different 4-5 star hotels in BKK, all with a buffet, but food was cold because no heating of serving tray was used. I eat no asian food so many had little if any choices for American like dishes. That was not the case here.

Ok. I did quite a research on decent hotels around Siam/ChitLom area and this hotel hits many spots. Easy access to all the malls connected through elevated walkway, spacious and well decorated rooms, great lobby with many F/B options. If i have to pick one downside is that the pool is a bit noisy, as it faces the BTS rail tracks, but who sits around the pool when there are so many great malls all in walkkng distance? Also check out LangSuan area also in walking distance.
