I did not like that I was charged $50 for "incidentals" that has not been returned to me with no explanation of exactly what "incidentals" we incurred during the 18 hours that we were there.

The charges are a temporary hold to cover any incidentals, If no incidental charges were incurred, the hold is released and becomes available again in your personal account. Very clean hotel and friendly staff

Very clean hotel and friendly staff. We were there for two nights they were very accommodating. Had to ask for our breakfast Val chairs, apparently the Travelocity reservation did not convey this to them? We were very happy with the breakfast buffet, and the drinks were good at the bar.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff

Pros: Free Internet
This is a very nice hotel. The staff were very friendly. The hotel was clean and the room was comfortable. I would definitely use this hotel again.

Bedbugs?

I usually am not inclined to write a negative review for the sake of being negative, but my experience at the Holiday Inn Columbia In August of 2010 might warrant it. My boyfriend and I stayed at the hotel as out-of-town guests for my friend's wedding. When we arrived the staff were nice enough, but there wasn't anything special or "award-winning" about the hotel as it was advertised. We did not spend too much time in the room except to sleep after the wedding, and when we woke up both my boyfriend and I had little itchy, red bumps covering our lower legs. We considered arguing for a refund but that is not really my style and I am not a doctor so we just high tailed it out of there. Who know, another guest could have tracked them in. With the whole bed bug epidemic lately it is hard to blame any one source but it was not a pleasant experience!
