The perfect location for your overnight stay! *We are now on BUS route 192 to Swords, Dublin Airport and city. This is our family home bedroom only accommodation. It’s the perfect overnight location to Dublin Airport arrivals and departures and only 2 minute walk to 192 Bus stop. Please note this a shared bathroom for our six guests. Check in is 18.00 - 22.00.
A friendly Irish welcome awaits you to our luxurious, spacious, modern family home (with our family dogs, very friendly!) in the heart of historical Ballyboughal village in North County Dublin. Located 15 minutes by car from Dublin Airport, 10 minutes from Swords and 25 minutes to Dublin City. Whether its travelling with friends, family or for business, let us help you make your overnight stay comfortable, memorable and convenient!

Accomodation: Spacious A1 rated energy home with underfloor heating makes this modern newly build house cosy and warm. Our 3 well sized bedrooms within our family home accommodate 6 adults guests very comfortably. **Please note if your group consistsof 3/4 we allocate two bedrooms.** Our SuperKing room is a firm favourite, alongside an our Triple room it’s the perfect combination for all our guests. Our shared bathroom is for guests only. **NB early check in incurs a €30 fee payable at check in.**

Location:
We are located in the historic village of Ballyboughal (town of the staff) surrounded by some of North County Dublin's finest scenery, beaches, fishing villages, golf courses, heritage houses and parks. This area is based in Irelands Ancient East and near to Newgrange and Bru na Boinne. For our business guests we are very close to Dublin Airport, City, M1 and M50.

The bathroom was almost impossible to bath in, and was dirty. The bedroom sheets smelled as if the Saint Patrick's Battalion had also there, also the pillows. There were no hangers in closet, with the owners things there that have us almost no space to hang a few things for us to hang. The zone where the property is, was very nice, shops close by were friendly and the pub was great! We can say that the only good thing was the coffee selection, and the location of the property.

Great stay

This is a great place to stay if you are just sleeping there. I didn’t read all the information correctly so was surprised that there wasn’t a kitchen or living room but that is on me completely. The beds were great for the 5 of us. The host is amazing.

The upper floor is yours

House was clean and rooms were a good size. We had a miscommunication about the number of people staying. That was quickly resolved and all is good. All rooms on the upper level share a bathroom and that is the only room with a mirror.

Ciara, our hostess was quite friendly and welcoming. Although, through no fault of her own, the water pressure in the upstairs bathroom was minimal. We therefore had to use the downstairs bathroom. With a party of 7 , this was somewhat inconvenient. Showers had to be staggered. No trash/garbage bins on the second floor.We were quite pleased with the bottle water, candy, crisps and tissues packaged left for our benefit.Also, Ciara went above and beyond by doing a load of laundry for us.

Near airport

We were surprised that this stay was just bed rooms. We didn't know that from the VRBO listing. It was very clean and adequate for our family of seven. We were surprised that we had no cooking facilities. Ciara was a fine host.

Description of home and accommodations is very misleading. All bedrooms (including the host family and daughter) are all upstairs. One room did not come with a key to lock the door. The TV in the daughters room was played very loudly. The description said friendly cat and dog, which they were but the dog barked throughout the night and one of the guest bedrooms smelled of cat pee. The lockbox to the house was broken and we were not given our own key. We were told to call or text them an hour before we expected to be back so someone would be there to open the door. There was no main sitting room so we had to stay in our rooms. We checked in early (2hours) and were told that check in was strictly 6pm. They let us in but they could have told us we were early and we would have waited. All of our other accommodations in Ireland were very pleasant and flexible on check in times. Overall if you are comfortable sleeping in a room next to your hosts bedroom, don’t mind terrible screaming coming from a nearby park, barking dogs (but friendly), and having to plan your coming and going then this is the place for you. We left after one night and found a hotel.

Great place for a quick stay in the country

Darling house in Ballyboghil. Only about 15 min. from the airport. Host was wonderful and so nice. Our bedrooms were large and nice and comfy. Big bathroom was nice. A good place to stay if you just need a room for the night close to the airport and out of the city.

Rest for the Weary

We started our Ireland adventure here and ended it here. It is a lovely home, comfy beds and our host was amazing. There is a great neighborhood pub nearby and only a skip away from downtown Dublin.

Location close to airport

We were greeted at the door with lots of helpful advice for our flight the next day. The airport was 15 min away. The rooms were very nice with comfortable beds for our family of 4. We shared a bathroom with our family but it was strictly for the guests. I appreciated the little things like a pitcher of water and candies in the rooms. We would stay again if we visit Ireland!
