The photos of this villa look amazing, so our expectations were high. Of course, you never know for sure until you arrive. The reality was far better! Which is really quite something. We needed a few days total relaxation after a very active two weeks exploring other parts of Costa Rica. So, we definitely felt extremely lucky. Correspondence with Chris beforehand was straightforward and he was most helpful. Gregori met us and guided us up the steep but, with a 4 wheel drive vehicle, perfectly manageable hill. When we were shown round, we were blown away by the beautiful views out across the ocean. "Curve of the earth" seems very apt.You can see the whale's tail and Cano Island. The villa is very comfortable and very well designed. The two bedrooms are at either end of the villa, so very private, and both benefit from a lovely outlook. The property is very well equipped. The garden is secluded, with discrete hedging and gorgeous flowers. Comfortable sofas outside were where we spent a lot of time. However, the pool was probably one of the best we have experienced. Great for swimming lengths or just relaxing. We had a few questions during our stay, each time receiving a prompt response. Chris obviously wants guests to have a wonderful stay. Some days we just decided to stay and enjoy all the comfort and amenities. The whirlpool was fab. We'd highly recommend staying here, you can never tire of the views, flowers & wildlife.We were so impressed, just blown away, thank you!
