The property had lovely tasteful decor which was a plus staying in that environment. Very clean also. It was disappointing that there was a problem with the liquor license but hopefully for them that will soon be rectified.

System here a few times, good hotel and clean nice rooms. Only issue, says sound proof, not all rooms ate, so make sure you get a room Away from the train station side, the noise from train will keep you up.

Great place, Art Nouveau style but done up recently. Currently no liquor license so can't sell you alcohol with the meal but that didn't bother us. Nice restaurant that's part of the hotel. Our room (the double suite) is a bit noisy due to train line nearby but they provide earplugs. Very comfortable stay and we were made to feel very welcome. That was our third stay and we will stay again!

Beautiful presentation room had everything that I love in a hotel room. Clean, tea coffee and biscuits. Fridge with wine and beer available for purchase. Iron and ironing board double shower. Room very quiet even though it is very near the rail station. I would recommend this to anyone.

Noisy trains ALL NIGHT!

Though this hotel is lovely to look at, I wouldn’t stay if you intend to sleep! My room was directly across from a railway station that doesn’t stop all night. Freight trains, passengers trains, trains blowing their horn, boom gates sounding ALL NIGHT!!! And no double glazed windows, so you might as well be sleeping on the tracks! Such a disappointment as the property is lovely, but I definitely wouldn’t recommend due to its location

I had a super quick stay but loved it, the sheets and bed was comfortable. It was easy, super friendly, stress free. Will definitely stay again, great to see the old building back up and running in such a fine way
