Located too close to the railway crossing so it was still noisy even with double glazed windows in the room. Mattress was uncomfortable, need to update mattress. Would have preferred some cutlery and plates in the room. Otherwise great location, clean and easy parking provided.

The Provincial is a beautiful old heritage hotel in a great location in Ballarat however since my last stay I can see that the love and care is not as good as it was and unfortunately the new owners did not have a liquor license yet so it felt as though the Hotel was just not firing on all cylinders.

My second stay here. Very nice country style hotel Comfortable and clean. Excellent and friendly help at check in. Since it was winter, air con heated the room well. However the bathroom is FREEZING cold and without heating. Needs attention.

This is a nice converted old pub with renovated rooms that a cozy and comfortable. Great for a quick trip and and overnight stay - 2 max but not really much nolonger. The only downside for me was that the room was tiny. Double bed in the corner. So too small for more than one person. very small cupboard in fact the coffee and tea were in the same tiny space as the cupboard.
