This popular village has always attracted European holidaymakers, It is ideal for walkers and cyclists. The pool is ideal for cooling off and the garden is very child friendly. There are many walks around the village You can visit the Orrido di Botri a huge canyon it can be reached on foot through a Chestnut tree forest or it is a 10minute drive away. There is walking on the near by mountains Mote Giovo, Rondinaio and the Prato Fiorito. Every year there are traditional festivals celebrating the typical Tuscan food and wine on the 5th Aug. The village has a grand food festival eating all day! There is all year round activities in the area, Lucca hosts a huge Comic and Games Festival in Nov. In Bagni Di Lucca there is a Christmas Fair Market.

Great place to stay!

Great place to stay in a very charming mountain village. Great walks nearby, nice garden, pool and sitting areas outside. I would definetly recomend a stay!

Heerlijk huis in een authentiek dorp en omgeven door een adembenemend landschap

We hebben heel erg genoten van ons verblijf in Villa Monticello! Het huis is ruim en licht en perfect gelegen bij de ingang van het dorp (overigens niet helemaal vrijstaand, want onderburen, maar die waren er alleen in het weekend). Tuin en zwembad zijn goed onderhouden en helemaal aan het zicht onttrokken, dus volledige privacy. Uit welk raam je ook kijkt in het huis, overal heb je prachtige uitzichten op de bergen of het dorp. Montefegatesi is een klein, geanimeerd en hecht dorpje, met een café en een kleine supermarkt waar je alles kunt vinden wat je nodig hebt. Een plek om tot rust te komen, maar ook wat actiefs te ondernemen, zoals wandelen door de kloof Orrido di Botri op 15 min. rijden, waar ook een leuk restaurant te vinden is. De communicatie met Mauro was heel prettig, hij is proactief, betrokken en behulpzaam, met allerlei info over bv de beste supermarkt in Bagni di Lucca of de beste route naar het dorp (een half uurtje bergrijden vanuit Bagni di Lucca). Kortom, ik kan deze accommodatie van harte aanbevelen!

Super nette, hilfsbereite und angenehme Vermieter. Alles sauber und gepflegt. Man fühlt sich willkommen und kann jederzeit um Hilfe bitten. Der Pool ist sauber und der Garten liebevoll gepflegt! Auch innen ist alles sauber und die Küche ist gut ausgestattet.

Très bon séjour

Très bon séjour de deux semaines dans cette villa, située dans un charmant village de montagne. Jardin et piscine vraiment agréables, endroit reposant et calme. Maison spacieuse et très propre, propriétaire charmant, merci à Livio et Mauro.
