pleasant stay

Property was perfect for what we were looking for. Floor plan nice, spacious, and open so that everyone can socialize together. Beds comfortable. Plenty of room outside for activity. Pool area is wonderful, if you're lucky enough to have the weather cooperate so that you can enjoy it, unfortunately mother nature did not cooperate during our stay. Highly recommend if your looking for nice, quite, relaxing stay.

Perfect place for a family gathering

We spent a wonderful weekend here with extended family and it was a perfect gathering place for our big crew with lots of kids. There was enough space for us to eat meals together and room for kids to play both inside and out. We also took the very short drive to Barren River state park to hike.

Ladies' Golf Getaway

We have stayed at this property numerous times now. We play golf in the mornings and then enjoy the beatiful pool in the afternoons. In the evenings, we have fires. The hosts have been very accomadating with our special request to check in early. When we requested additional firewood, they came over and gave us more than enough for the rest of our stay. This house and property is so well taken care of - it's wonderfull!

Spacious home perfect for a large group!

Our group of friends had a wonderful stay at this secluded and peaceful property! We loved relaxing poolside and the living area was large enough to accommodate everyone. The kitchen was well-stocked with all the essentials. Might think about bringing some pool towels with you (though there were plenty of towels to go around, they were all standard bath towels). Make sure and stop at Paradise Point for breakfast—located just a few minutes away and so unique and fun! We would love to return!

Great for a Group Get-Away

We had a large group made up of 4 families, with 17 of us in total. The house was perfect with lots of privacy. The house is pretty far from stores, restaurants and entertainment but if you are looking for privacy and seclusion, this is perfect. The only thing that would make this place 5 stars would be the addition of a hot tub. Other than that, we had a great time here.

Clean House

The overall stay was very nice. The house and pool were very clean and well kept. We had 12 people in our group and it didn’t feel cramped at all, plenty of space, rooms and TV’s for everyone. The back porch has 2 tables and ceiling fans great for hanging out and eating in the shade. The pool area has some lounge chairs and tables but there is no shade, so I would recommend bringing some sort of table umbrella or pop up tent if you want shade by the pool. The kitchen was lightly stocked with cooking tools. Pots and pans were pretty beat up.

Wonderful Stay!

This property was better than expected. Everything was exactly as described and even better in some cases. The grill was beautiful. The pool was crystal clear, and the house was fitted with all necessary items for cooking, cleaning, and entertaining. The double dryer came in handy many days, and we also enjoyed using the corn hole boards. The house also included a standard and keurig coffee maker. The furniture was comfortable and homey. The property is definitely back in the country. We felt like we were driving in someone's yard to reach the property, but the seclusion and privacy ended up being one of our favorite things. The host was responsive to any needs that arose and showed kindness and grace throughout our stay. We also enjoyed renting a pontoon boat at Barren Lake State Park one day. This park is free to use and includes some nice trails, playgrounds, restaurants, a beach, and much more. Overall, we had a wonderful family reunion and would love to return one day in the future!

It’s a great house for a large family with bedrooms enough for all. The pool was enjoyed especially the slide and diving board. We couldn’t find any matches to light the fire pit and bring yr own pool towels and pool toys. Also although 2 nice coffee makers are provided bring yr own ground coffee and pods.

Excellent cabin stay, you won't be disappointed at all.

We have rented this cabin for several years now for our family reunion of brothers & sisters, always clean, we love this cabin! It fits us all with no complaints about anything. We love the swimming pool as well. Well stocked with kitchen utensils & appliances. Very clean cabin!!

Restful spot for a family getaway

Our family joined our best friends’ family for a getaway. 10 adults, 6 kids ranging from baby-16. This property was perfect! Plenty of bedrooms and beds and one giant living space. We could all stay connected but it on top of each other during our stay.

Thanksgiving getaway

We had our entire family at the cabin for Thanksgiving. The space was gorgeous and perfect for this kind of event. Great space and so many nice amenities including having wood readily available for the fire pit out back. Misty was so pleasant and great communication. Highly recommend

Perfectly suited for a large group

Anything we needed was a text away. Very nice. Very clean. Very comfortable. With a large kitchen/dining, and living room area this is a superior layout. Not far from the lake and plenty of privacy.

Great house with plenty of space

We are a group of friends that get together yearly to ride motorcycles for a few days. The house was large enough to accomodate 11 people easily, and gravel driveway is easy enough to maneuver on motorcycle. Kitchen is well equipped, we cooked breakfast and dinner daily for the group. We enjoyed the peace and privacy provided by the secluded location. Thanks for allowing us to stay at your beautiful home!
