Not as advertised

The condo was advertised as two queen beds but one was only a full size. Our friends had to leave and stay somewhere else because the bed was too small and uncomfortable. The main shower never had hot water the whole time we stayed. The building shut off the water one day to make plumbing repairs but we had no advance notice. There were definitely roaches in the kitchen. Only one of the 3 elevators worked and this condo was on the top floor. When we asked for half of our money back we did receive partial payment back. Property manager did respond to messages.

Great Option

I appreciate a clean environment and a nicely maintained space that is conveniently located. This apartment is all of that and manager communication is peerless. Highly recommended.

Memorial Day Stay

This place was a great little spot we picked to stay in Uptown during our recent stay in Charlotte over Memorial Day Weekend. One of the main reasons we chose to stay here was the proximity to a nearby hang out Super Abari. Also near by were many great food options, most of which were a 15-20 min walk. Best place we enjoyed to it was Ace 3, which was less than 5 min walk. The burgers were amazing. Regarding the place itself, everything was very clean. There was a back deck and yard, which we didnt use, but was nice if needed. On the outside the place looks a little older, but inside has been fully rennovated and quite comfortable. Only thing we missed was having TVs in each of the bedrooms. Outside of that the host communicated great and was easy to work with. Next time we stay in Uptown, this is a place we will revisit.

Don’t Do It

Checkin process is a joke-long line to only show security guard your ID and click some buttons on a tablet. Parking garage is extremely sketch and dirty with space numbers written in sharpie on the wall. Entire building and unit reaked of weed the entire stay. Bathrooms are not clean-dirty thongs in cabinet, blood stains on towel, some sort of blood/makeup stains all on hairdryer and light switch, used toilet paper rolls, mold covered air vent, and dirty showers. Fan unit installed to living room window-foil/insulation for unit is aluminum foil that is separating from the window. But at least it worked. Roaches in kitchen-watch out when you open drawers, cabinets and dishwasher. Owner also asks that you start the dishwasher upon leaving-there’s no detergent, so dishes have probably not been cleaned in a while. Water damage on wall in main bedroom. Second bathroom is a joke- has a shower insert (not a tub as one listing posted) that may as well have come out of a camper, sink is airplane size and dirty/stopped up with a cabinet that is falling apart. Pictures for the listing do not appropriately represent any of these issues or the unit’s overall condition at all. Very disappointed with how the unit turned out compared to what was depicted.

Great but needed some improvement

The place is amazing and the view is even better. I thought the communication was great as well. There was an issue with the oven that never got resolved and ended up losing out on about $180 worth of money because the oven didn’t work. Other than that I thought the place was perfect.

AC could not cool, internet did not work, second bathroom a joke.

Place was old and dated but that is fine, but AC was worthless did not cool. Worked but unit so old and August in Atlanta no chance. We had to buy 5 fans to just be able to sleep at night. Second bathroom would make an RV shower look like a luxury walk in. Only supply one fob should have at least two. Internet did not work the entire week. I have rented through VRBO several times with success. This place should not be listed as VRBO property. Was a third party called LuLuhomes. If not there for work at the mart would have left after first day!!!

Peach Bowl Condo

We rented this condo for a New Year's Visit and Peach Bowl game. Reserving the place was easy, making payment was not. There was a glitch in the payment process and after providing 3 different credit cards for payment, the host finally looked at their own system and found the issue was there. Fortunately, the communication with Rachel et al was easy and efficient! The place is well located, we walked everywhere, including MB Stadium. The condo itself is run down and needs some TLC...lighting is either harshly florescent or dim, both made getting ready difficult. the flooring is in need of repair. There are 3 bar stools and a small leather couch for seating in the common area. The wiring for the under-lighting in the kitchen cabinets is visible. Oh, and take your own towels. We were provided 1 thin bath and hand towel per person for a 3 night stay.

Not what I expected

There was no paper towels in the unit. The unit could have been a cleaner. The toilet seat looks really bad. The wood floor was coming up and is a trip hazard. There are pet’s running around everywhere. You will pay for parking and not have a parking spot and will have to find one away from the property or else you will be towed but you paid for a spot and security will tell it’s your problem not theirs. There where not enough towels in the unit. The heater takes forever to work. The location is good but that’s about all

Nice place to stay!

The pictures on the site matched the place well. The host was very good at communication. We did have a hiccup with payment as the credit card site wouldn't update with payment which delayed our check-in process. The location is good and close to the convention center, food and other locations. The property also has secured entry with security at the entry way. I would recommend this listing and the host. I really appreciated her patience as we worked through the payment challenge.
