Mother/Daughter Get Away

Our group of five, aging from 16-80, had a fantastic stay. The home is exactly as pictured, with great attention to detail. Susan and Kristin were very communicative and took great care to make sure we had everything we needed - restaurant recommendations, detailed directions to the house, etc.The house was an easy 15 minute drive to the Biltmore, downtown and Grove Park Inn.I highly recommend this house for your next trip to Asheville.

4 ladies exploring the area and loved this place. clean, comfortable and a great location. quiet and convenient with everything you need. We loved the design touches and decor. spent 2 days exploring Biltmore house and estates and another day exploring downtown Ashville. Comfy Stay

Perfect home away from home. Comfy and cozy with just enough privacy. The kitchen has all the pots, pans, and cooking utensils we needed, with extras. The back deck was lovely. The house was so close to Biltmore Estate that it took no time to drive there. We will be back when more of the hurricane damage has been reversed and we will definitely look to stay at Gusty Winds again.

Awesome Stay at Quiet & Chic 3 bedroom Cottage

We LOVED our 18 night stay! Check in and check out were so easy with a keypad. The home is adorable, and the layout is fantastic. I would buy this home if it were for sale. It is in a perfect location for exploring Asheville, and visiting our daughter and family in West Asheville. The backyard is lovely, and the lights add a lot of ambience. The gas grill was nice to have. Five stars!!!!! We want to stay again next September, but it is already booked (:

Beautiful three-bedroom cottage with a lovely Asheville aesthetic. Everything was new, clean, and functioned perfectly. The house was extremely well-stocked, and the brownies were a special treat. Owners had great communication and clearly take pride in their property.

Susan’s house was perfect for our multigenerational girls trip to Asheville. The location was perfect for visiting the Biltmore, hiking and shopping, not to mention the great nearby restaurants. We also enjoyed plenty of time at the lovely home playing games and enjoying a few laughs. Susan was a great help with recommendations and quick to respond to any questions.

Cozy Comfort Charm

What a wonderful stay we just had in Asheville. This house met every need and exceed our expectations. From a fully stocked kitchen and pantry to enough games to last a lifetime. I was really impressed to see an instant read thermometer which came in handy when we grilled out. The binoculars were also a nice touch. Sitting on the back patio was very enjoyable each morning and evening. Not to mention the sweet treats as a welcome! All three bedrooms were exactly as described and very good water pressure in the showers. Thanks so much for being such a great host!

Felt like home

I stayed 3 nights with family to visit the area which mainly included the Biltmore Estate. The 6 of us felt that the home was clean and quiet, making it enjoyable to hang out in. Communication was quite easy as I did have a couple questions during our stay. Our hosts were very accommodating. We also appreciated how very well stocked the pantry items were even though we didn't do much cooking. Ice packs already frozen were handy since we decided to have a picnic. The bowl of chocolates and other touches like the books scattered around were nice to have. I even borrowed one of the books showing before/ construction pictures to compare while strolling the Biltmore gardens. Overall, we really enjoyed the house and the central location to all the places we visited.

Short Getaway

This house was perfect! The owner thought of everything. It was like staying at a friend’s house. The kitchen was full of all of your cooking needs, the bathrooms had all the soaps, plenty of kiddo stuff so you don’t have to pack all of the extra stuff. The owner was also extremely helpful with suggesting plenty of places to eat around town. We would definitely stay here again!

New Year's Getaway

We stayed in this lovely home over the New Year's Weekend. It was perfect in every way! Loved the furnishings and living spaces. Meticulously appointed with everything we needed to ensure an enjoyable stay. All the bells and whistles in the kitchen and the bathrooms. There was literally nothing we needed except for food and beverages. Susan was probably one of the best property managers I have ever had at a VRBO. She replied to my email questions immediately and provided me with her cell phone. Love love love this home and plan to visit in the future!!!

Amazing Saty in Asheville

Susan was great! The house was cozy with fully stocked kitchen ,bathroom, pantry, games for days ,tons of cozy blankets and she left special treat in the fridge from NYC. The cottage was tucked away in a quite neighborhood but minutes from Biltmore and Asheville. We will definitely rent the cottage again and for a longer stay of 3 days. Wonderful house

This house is wonderful! All of the infrastructure elements are new and of top-notch quality and working order. The furnishings are very sturdy and functional. The decor very attractive and homey, and there are so many conveniences. There are tables next to neary every seat. The deck is just perfect. The natural surroundings are quiet and beautiful. The owners have supplied nearly everything that anyone could need. We all said we would want to live in this house!
