It would help if the listing showed that this was a third floor apartment. People that have difficulty climbing stairs shouldn’t be in this apartment. The amenities in the kitchen need to be upgraded if you are to cook in this place. The Internet needs to be upgraded, as well as cable. Also, the cleaning crew needs to step it up.

Tilted Dreamland

Location and size was perfect for our family of four. The older building has character, for sure. There is a bit of a slope in each room. However, for the overall amenities and location we could not asked for better. We will be returning for future adventures in AVL.

Spring Break in Asheville

We had a great time in Asheville. The VRBO was very nice, good location for what we wanted to do in and around Asheville. Only issue was with the internet/WiFi connection. Not consistent and made watching TV difficult.

Wedding weekend with family

We had too many people to stay affordably at the Hilton garden inn down the street. This place gave us much more space and two private bedrooms. Great spot, was just like the photos. Easy check in and out with coded locks. Simple and worked great. Staying above a bakery was a nice benefit in the morning. Short walk to everywhere we wanted to go downtown.

We enjoyed our stay here. It was spacious, quiet, clean and well-appointed. The location is about a 20 minute walk to downtown which was fine during the day, but crossing past highway entrances felt a little risky (visibility) at night. Since parking downtown can be difficult this was a bit of a drawback to the location but if it had been closer to downtown it probably wouldn’t have been so quiet at night. The cafe downstairs had great pastries and there is a starbucks about a block away. Trader Joes and Whole Foods are about a half mile away. The second bedroom’s bed is against a wall on one side so it’s a little more difficult to share that bed. Also the property is showing some of it’s age with chipped bathroom tiles and a bit of crumbling particle board or whatever on the bathroom vanity . Overall a great spacious, quiet place to stay in Asheville.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Access was no problem, place was great. Seems almost hotel like with services. Any comment about adequate kitchen stuff was resolved. Place had everything we needed.

Everything you need, and close to town.

Convieniet location, and very clean 2-bedroom condo. We were minutes away from all the restaurants, art, hikes and shops in and near Asheville. Parking can be a little tight in the morning and afternoon during the coffee shop busy times. Wish we would have been able to try the restaurant and coffee shop downstairs, but we were away for most of the day. Very convenient washer and dryer just outside your door step.

Teachers enjoy their Spring Break too

Having hit the Shenandoah Valley and Blue Ridge Mountains the four of us needed the perfect pivot point before heading back. And we found it in Asheville. The King James Building is ideally situated with all points of interest a mere 3miles away. We spent hours on the Riverfront Art District, checked out West Asheville and wandered downtown. Our apartment was perfect for two couples fully equipped with kitchen and morning coffee (although we also indulged the bakery mere steps from the front door).

Bathroom Very Tight

The property was great and in a great location but road noise can be loud. The bathrooms are very small and need more counter space or at least a shelving unit over the toilets so everyone has a place to put their toiletries, Entry hall could also use some coat hooks. Overall good value for the money.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed our stay. The area around the condo is loaded with great restaurants within walking distance and is a terrific area to get in a daily walk. It's close to everything and just a five minute drive to downtown Asheville. The condo is nicely decorated and we had all we needed in the kitchen (we did not cook in the condo). The only issue was very slow internet. You could not be on your phone and stream a show at the same time.
