Camino Real never disappoints, we always stay at this hotel, in my opinion is probably on the top 3 hotels in antigua, I base this rating on how modern and convenient the hotel is, is very roomy and it was built recently when compared to the other hotels, but they built it with the Antigua old fashioned Spanish architecture charm. I will definitely return in the future.

Check in was a nightmare with Dulce. There were hidden extra charges and extra charges that were requested upon check in. We were traveling with a 20 month old baby, we were charged $13 for “extra guest” and the manager Nancy then explained after check out that the $13 were a breakfast for the infant: it was never offered. We received a phone call from Dulce (check in agent) 2 days later after check out requesting my credit card number to “close my account”. Which was already closed and I was given an invoice with all charged paid at check out with a lovely gentleman. We requested to speak to Nancy, the manager, and the information Dulce gave ger was not accurate. Expedia was a life safer with this hotel! Expedia helped during our stay and during check out. They made sure we got what we paid for.
