It was an amazing stay at this beautiful cabin!! Everything was exactly the way it was advertised! Host was extremely accommodating and kind. Beautiful location with creek running right behind the cabin. Would recommend this place to anyone who wanted to experience the rustic mountain atmosphere!! Roomy inside and out and a hot tub on the deck to finish out your day!!

I believe I have found my happy place, and it is not in a briar patch! (If you know that reference, you, like me, grew up or were living in a great time!)Beautiful Cabin and location. Very clean!! Nice flowing creek right behind cabin and just off back porch. Large hot tub, grill, picnic table and lounge chair on back porch. Cabin is very homey and well stocked with kitchen utensils and cookware.The owners are very informative and communicate well. This place is the perfect place to get a way and relax! The cabin is accessible by car or motorcycle, if you are in the area riding the Tail of the Dragon or other great roads in the area.Once we arrived, it was hard to believe we were only 3 miles out of town! We crossed a creek (there is access without crossing the creek) and headed back into the woods. On the road we passed numerous signs warning of bears in the area, sadly, we didn’t see any. Our cabin was at the end of the road. We walked in and it was beautiful. Nicely decorated and the furniture, especially the beds, were extremely comfortable! When we walked out on the back porch, our jaws dropped! It is absolutely beautiful! A nice full creek running just off the back porch. There were three small rock dams that created little waterfalls and the most relaxing sound! Sitting in the hot tub at night, seeing the stars was amazing! The cabin, our stay, owners everything was perfect. We did not want to come home! HIGHLY RECOMMEND Collett Creek Cabins!

You mean if you want a terrifying l, paranoid of someone watching you stay?! At first we loved the cabin. It was cozy and relaxing however, we found out by the owner that the neighbor was watching us and saying we were building a fire. Which the owner could have given us a heads up that the state was under a fire ban. We put the fire out immediately. Then while my family and I were out in town the owner called again saying the neighbor had been smelled that we still had the fire burning. At that point we had been there for almost three day and felt uncomfortable for my daughters who were in their bathing suits in the hot tub and watching us the whole time. We left early and the cabin was not as advertised

Did not use hot tub. Gas fireplace worked perfectly. The lock box for door key needs work and the written directions to the cabin are not accurate. The cabin very comfortable and welcoming and had everything we needed. Beds very comfortable.

Very nice quiet and cozy cabin!It was one of, if not the most, quiet and relaxing cabins we have ever stayed in. The cabin is nestled between two hills with a creek that flows right behind the house. We could hear the creek flowing with the windows open which was the most relaxing part, even the dogs were relaxed and happy facing the fire place listening to the peace and quiet with the sound of the creek. It’s like a cabin in the shire

Great place, great location. Very clean and the host was very easy to communicate with. We enjoyed the cabin and our time there. You may also have a few visiting hunting dogs during your stay. Don’t worry they were very friendly and the owner usually isn’t too far away!

We had a wonderful time at the cabin and the area! The hot tub and campfire were relaxing and fun highlights. We had an issue with getting the gas fireplace lit but our host walked us through a manual start, which worked well. The oven runs a bit hot. The layout and coziness of the cabin was a real delight ! I would certainly stay here again!

Very relaxing stay with fireplace and creek just outside. Hot tub was nice which was private and next to creek. Host responsive. Cabin was in woods and very private despite other. Sabina in the area. Quite with just sound of running creek water.

Great cabin for a relaxing getaway. Everything was great. Enjoyed the hot tub and relaxing by the creek. We spent most of our time in Bryson City but enjoyed the drives thru the gorge and the serenity of the cabin location. We hope to be back again soon. Highly recommend this cabin.

It was a beautiful location, and the cabin was so nicely decorated. We enjoyed the fire place, the hot tub, the firepit and the awesome creek. Wish there was a welcome basket or some tea bags or coffee to start us off, but we were able to go to grocery store the 2nd day. The toiletries were missing shampoo and conditioner and the towels had a bad smell and although there was a washer, we could not find the laundry soap.

Good location, pretty place, but very tiny bedrooms and way too much furniture packed in that little cabin. The cleanliness was lacking, huge dust bunnies on the walls and cobwebs on the ceiling. The washing machine really needs to be cleaned.

The canopy over this property makes you feel like you're in the woods but it makes it overall darker outside and inside. The beds weren't at all suitable for us, they were way too soft and the best option was the futon (for us), and even that was not very comfortable. The deck was where we spent the most time and we enjoyed watching the creek and having our dogs with us on the enclosed deck. The road where the cabins are located is a nice walk and we met a nice neighbor. Location has easy access to Andrews, and also to Murphy which is where we took the dogs for outings and meals. The chophouse in Murphy takes dogs on the patio, and Mariolino's in Murphy had excellent Italian food. We did enjoy the peaceful setting but can't say we will return because of the beds.

Excellent cabin. We had a bit of trouble finding it because the directions simply said the first cabin on the right. There were a couple of splits in the road before reaching the cabin, which wound up being further back than we expected. Otherwise we had a wonderful stay.

Beautiful secluded cabin in a peaceful setting in the woods. We were only able to stay for a quick weekend getaway to attend a wedding but enjoyed the stay. We enjoyed sitting on the porch listening to the creek in the mornings with coffee and again in the evening while winding down! The only negative for me was I found the bed too soft with the mattress topper on it and my back was not happy. My wife and daughter, however, enjoyed the softness. The other sleeping option is a futon. According to my grown son, it is probably better suited for younger kids. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and will likely revisit at some time in the future!
