Property was beautiful, and so was the surrounding area. Porta potty closest to our dome was not remotely clean at all, but the one 20 feet away from it was so it was no big deal. The first night was great, (other than getting bitten up) and then we woke up and made breakfast and left for our hike. When we got back to the dome, i attempted to make dinner and realized the area surrounding our food bags was being infested with ants that were getting through the cracks where the wall met the floor. I then opened my stove and there were ants crawling all over and through the pipes. I had to throw the stove away and leave early, and then requested a refund for the 2 nights that I was unable to stay there. The host accused me of bringing the ants in myself and told me to next time “check my gear” (I had used that stove that morning, and no ants were there). I had to spend an hour on the phone with vrbo to get my partial refund and the host completely stopped answering. Only stay here if you are okay with your stuff and bodies being infested with ants and then being told it is your fault.
