Within 1 mile from a secluded sandy bay and coastal walks. Nearby is the village post office. Alnwick, 4 miles, with the castle used as ‘Hogwarts’ in the Harry Potter films. Bottle of wine on arrival. Shop 200 yards, pub 1½ miles, restaurant 2 miles.

Enjoyable week in Northumberland

Lovely well equipped cottage and owner left lots of goodies😋. Ideally situated to get to lots of interesting places. Secure front garden and small patio at rear. Didn’t see a village shop but large Sainsbury’s and Lidl within a short distance also Morrison’s in Alnwick. Will most likely return next Spring .
