Nice and secluded. The sound of creek was very nice. We enjoyed the gazebo many nights. Though the road was a little rough. Enjoyed our stay.

Nice and Secluded

My friends and I enjoyed the location and accommodations. The gas fire pit provided some nice evenings.

Great place to unplug

Backing up to the river was incredible. Great access to Alma’s small town vibe was great and not too far from Fairplay. I loved the hospitality and a great escape from downtown.

Wonder mountain stay

The property was so beautiful and refreshing for sure! Really a great place to be one with nature! The hosts were great at reaching out and making sure you were having a great time during your stay! Will definitely be back!

CREEK SIDE MOUNTAIN CABIN

The location is great. It has beautiful views, but connection was very limited. The firepit was great for smores and the creek was very relaxing! The beds were too firm for our liking so we didn't feel rested. Overall our stay was great. The cabin is very cozy!

Creekside Cabin

We enjoyed our stay. The sound of the water along the edge of the property was really nice, along with the gas fire pit outside. My son liked exploring the vicinity and discovering animal tracks. The mattresses were too soft for our older bones, but we enjoyed the rustic feel of the cabin and the back deck, as well as playing games with our family at the large table inside.

Wonderful location

We had a great time at the cabin. The kids loved the play struture and really liked the tetter totter. The fire pit was a nice extra. We enjoyed the fireplace a couple of cooler nights. New furniture and beds would be nice. Your response to the yellowjackets was great. I enjoyed renting thru your company. We will you use you again when we want to rent a mountain cabin.

Nice enough but overpriced

The property was decent enough, just overpriced for what you get. Listing says two queens w/ bunks but they were full beds, not queens so be prepared if you're an adult with a partner. Part of the road in and the driveway have not been graded so low clearance vehicles need to be aware of large rocks and deep pits everywhere. The indoor fire place was quite nice though and the outdoor fire pit was great. Overall we enjoyed our stay, just feel like we overpaid considering the property condition.

Colorado Vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Colorado. I feel there were pros and cons about the Creekside Mountain Cabin. For us, we would not make the choice to stay here again. Pros: - House was very comfortable and fit our needs. - Loved being right by the creek and hearing the sound of the water through the windows. - Firepit was a wonderful relaxing atmosphere in the evenings. Cons: - Horrible Wifi. My teenagers were quite upset, they could hardly get online. - The bugs!!!! You had to drench yourself in bug spray to sit outside and enjoy the weather. Swatting flies is not fun when trying to relax. - The yard has not been mowed or edged in a while so you had to high step to get out to the firepit, because the weeds were so high. - Downstairs bedroom mattress wasn't great, my husband didn't sleep well on it.

Breckenridge Ski Trip

My family and I booked this property for a weekend ski trip to Breckenridge and had mixed feelings with this VRBO. The positives: - Plenty of sleeping space - Manageable drive to Breckenridge as long as there is not significant fresh snowfall - Full kitchen - Fireplace in the living room The negatives: - even in a SUV we got stuck once and nearly stuck again trying to get back to this house -1st time - Google Maps has inaccurate directions to this location and has you turn down County Rd 12-A off County Rd 12. DO NOT DO THIS! Ask the VRBO host for accurate directions before arrival. - 2nd time (almost) - the second time actually came while we were leaving the house on the way back to the airport, when the wind had drifted the snow over Park City Rd overnight. These backroads are not plowed frequently and that can cause an issue with fresh snow or drifting from the wind. We were able to make it through the drifts, but it was an uncomfortable moment. There was also no shovel at the house that we could have used to dig our way out.

Great mountain getaway

This was our second time staying at this property, and the area has become a favorite spot for us to get away to the mountains. The cabin is comfortable and well maintained, and sits on a nicely secluded lot next to a stream. We hope to come back again!

Great place with some minor cons

Place was in a great location next to the creek. but there was no cellular or wifi reception at all. Makes sense with the name but there A LOT of mosquitoes!

Relaxing Mountain Getaway

This was an awesome property and we really enjoyed staying here. There's a wonderful creek running along the property, very relaxing, sounds super peaceful. Great place for kids, too. If you want to relax and get away from the world, this is the place.

Great Nature Getaway

The property is very private, but still only 25 mins to Breck downtown and skiing! Creek side location with great fire pit and wildlife. Good value, very responsive management and easy check-in.
