Please don’t book to stay here. The apartment smells really bad because of drainage issues. We complained to the owner who said he knows about the issue, has tried to fix but has not. Only offered air fresheners to mask the smell. Complained to Expedia and Vrbo who didn’t do anything. Terrible that a property is offered when they know there is such an issue
The apartment is in a great location with access to a lovely shared pool area, not far from local beaches. The apartment itself is tired, poorly maintained and thought through.
The mezzanine floor added to maximise occupancy is a little precarious and does not have a hand rail for safety. Its location also means that it does not benefit from the airconditioning.
The pillows and quilts were stained and the linen well worn.
The smoke detector had no battery
The patio door did not have a lock and a plank of wood was provided to 'secure' it.
The kitchen was poorly equipped with only one wine glass, one teaspoon, a broken frying pan and a fridge with a missing door shelf and no light.
The bathroom had only one bulb out of 3 lights and the shower hose was broken.
Due to the above issues we cut short our stay.
