Modern clean hotel. TV did not work properly in both rooms. Restaurant food poor. Staff disinterested QR codes did not work. Massively over priced. Discounts only worked if booking direct but cost £20 per night more!

The hotel was clean and modern. The pub was basic with cardboard food. Staff were uninterested. Qr codes for discounts did not work. Good location but still about half a mile from the loch. Massively overpriced. Name misleading.

Wonderful

Absolutely lovely. Weve stayed at Marston's Inns before but not this one. Exactly what we expected. Comfortable rooms, great food, lovely staff. Yes, the hotel needs updating but its still brilliant.

The room was a little tired, there were a couple of issues that were off putting, it is a little strange to have no luggage rack or anywhere to put things other than the desk. There was an unusual smell it wasnt a bad smell but it wasn't good either. I hate to be negative, we reported a couple of faults and i think if we hadn't encountered them we might have had a different view of the place. The staff are lovely, Suzanne the night manager was lovely and so helpful. The chap in the restaurant who I think was the the manager was nice as well. We had lunch and it was pleasant enough and the price is similar to the rest of the area for eating and drinking.
