We discovered that the outlet behind the nightstand wasn't working, but sufficed with other lights and outlets.

The motel room was very damp and had a terrible smell, like a wet diaper. We bought a room deodorizer but it didn't help. It was so damp that the sheets on the bed were clammy, as well as our clothes. There was a pop machine outside the doorway that rumbled every 20 minutes or so and it was hard to navigate the parking lot. We chose this motel because it was the only available room left at the last minute and Travelocity suggested it to us. We will not go there again under any circumstances.
