Lovely hotel. The staff were helpful and very friendly. Great location with a fabulous beer garden to soak up the sun. The staff made the trip special. Not to forget the amazing food!

Excellent central location (75 yards from the high street ) with friendly, helpful staff . The period design/history of the hotel means that it has plenty of charm but that has to be balanced against the lack of some of the things that would automatically be included in a new build . Absence of air conditioning can make the rooms hot and stuffy, for example. The freestanding electric fan in our room got plenty of use

It was a flying visit with a late arrival. Stuff was very friendly and accommodating to provide some late dinner. Room and facilities were very nice and clean topped up with a lovely fruit pancake breakfast..would certainly stay again

Duke of Normandie is located on a quiet street in the heart of town, near the main shopping street. It has a private courtyard with parking spaces and an outdoor patio off the bar. The patio is very popular with local business people. The bar and restaurant have very friendly staff and great food and drink options. Be sure to try the excellent Channel Island Wheadon Gins.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Duke of Normandie Hotel. The staff were friendly, the room was spotless and comfortable and the location is ideal - close to the harbour, shops and restaurants. Breakfast was fresh and tasty each morning. A great choice for a short break in Guernsey.

Great place and very central to town.

Stayed in the cottage and it was fantastic. I would say the only downside was the water pressure for the shower or filling a bath. But it would put me off booking again.

Our stay at The Duke of Normandie was very pleasant, right in the centre of town with easy access to bars and restaurants etc. The room, food, bar and especially the staff exceeded our expectations. We will definitely consider it for our next trip to Guernsey. Only slight negative was the parking, very limited so had to find alternative parking and walk one night which can be tricky in town.
